This is actually one of my favorite shoujos. Idk why but it has this charm to it and the protagonist Yamato isn't a lame idiot who can't make his own decision. Artwork is okay on most parts and so is the comedy bits. Some scenes seems forced but it's easy to get used to. It can be relatable too and I like seeing Mei's development throughout the manga.

Lately, the manga introduced some more characters that could bring some drama and competition. Thoughts on this? Oh and hoping for another OVA or something in the future..

The manga is great! Much more adult than the anime. I still find it funny that the three genres in which you will find topless girls, sex and NTR are shoujo, yaoi and hentai... Sukitte has lots of topless girls in the early books and lots of sex and NTR... what more could you want? For the 10-18 year old girl's genre of course...

Kanae Hazuki has really slowed down though. I feel it may be ending soon. Still waiting for volume 12. Stopped buying Dessert monthly because of all the skipped months.

No more anime will come, sales were dreadful, beyond dreadful. More OVAs? Also doubtful, this company makes one when they have the staff together to sell the next manga volume which was #11 but there won't be more.

There is a live action movie next year however. Perhaps Crunchyroll can get it for the drama members.

Then I'll consider the manga a different story. for me the innocent, shy and slowly progressing pace of the anime is what made me love it as it reminded me of one of my first loves. Having topless girls and sex would ruin that for me. but still, those things also interest me. So i'll give it a shot sometime in the future

Same story. Just the parts when we learn that he already did it, and it's implied that he and she do it... well, they show that they did it, and girls are usually topless when they do it... so...

Mei is still her sweet innocent self.... well, at least until...

I started with the anime and I really liked it so I switched to the manga! I love it! The art is way better in the manga, like most of the time.

I didn't really like Mei at first. I though she was annoying because she didn't show any emotion at all and it really was driving me crazy XD!! But now that she shows more emotion, she's way more interesting. I love Yamato too. He's not a jerk, emo, idiot, sarcastic guy like in other shojo. He's actually really nice and cares about his girlfriend
