I love minecraft, I had it for the xbox 360 then I purchased the pc version, so yeah, I payed for the game twice for two versions of the game. Although I like how the 360 version is so easy to play with your friends while the pc version, you either have a sever (which you have to pay) or join a random server.

My buddies and I have been on the same server for a couple of years now, and it's consistently running which is great. We've re-set it a few times to update and experience new things / lands, but it's always been the same group of people.

We had one world where we each chose a neighboring biome and "ruled" our own land, with our own rules. Sometimes that meant that when people collaborated, their cities flourished or were more interesting. I had a really great time with that, we even had a colosseum where one of us would throw petty trinkets for the rest of us to fight to the death over.

Ah yes. Minecraft forever.

I've played it since late alpha/early beta. Nowadays I don't really play Vanilla, I just play Feed The Beast.

Honestly I haven't played Vanilla for a long time, I only play for the mods and servers. The Hive and Mineplex are really great servers, and when playing with the Oculus Rift is so bad4ss

I love playing Minecraft. Minecraft. It is constantly being updated. And there are many mods that people have made for it and in time this could be the next greatest game.

I'm in-love with minecraft despite the many children that are now infesting the game. It's becoming less enjoyable joining a server with people who aren't in the least bit mature.

If anyone wishes to play with me, ask me for my Skype through my inbox

Yep, it's really addicting :DD I have the xbox version and it's a lot of fun to play online with friends~ We built a giant castle together then gathered like 8 wolves and made them sit inside it xD

I played minecraft alot and still do, I switch between solo Creative Mode and a server called mcign.com which is a SkyBlock server (You start off on a very small island and have to create a cobble generator in order to expand).

It's been a long time since I've played, been feeling that itch to build again. Might start looking for a dependable server with a mature community soon.

Is anyone capable of running the most recent Direwolf pack without huge GUI lag? Even after some upgrades I still have a lot of FPS dips.

Did you upgrade your hard drive
Did the upgrade involve new power supply + gfx?

A stick of ram isn't really an upgrade...

I'm sitting on a GTX 670 FTW+ edition. and for my HDD's? I'm running two samsung 840 pro's in a RAID 0. My read/write speeds are at 1 Gb/s I highly doubt the bottleneck are my SSD's. I've been sitting on a 1k Watt power supply since I built this so power really isn't a issue. I don't think my CPU is a bottleneck either. I run a i7-2600k @ 4.5 Ghz. I don't plan on upgrading that till the skylakes are released.
