Tristan smiles and take the bed
"Ok then"
he sticks his tongue out at serai before going softly into sleep
Serai herself take the other futon and puts it near Oz's
"No we can't"
she says with a smile before laying down

A girl with pink hair was wandering one of the abandoned apartments, dressed in a school uniform which was soaked because of the heavy downpour outside. Her crimson-colored eyes seemed to be carefully watching every scene she saw outside. There wasn't much. Just the water falling, the occasional passerby, and the flickering of the the lamp post outside. She could see none of it.

On the floor above, a teenage boy sat on the edge of the patio, blankly watching the rain and listening to it hit various of items. Empty cans, run-down cars, the ground, he heard it all. But he couldn't feel it. Oft times he wondered what rain felt like, though he could taste it, the liquid made no significance in his fingers, on his body. So he admired the natural occurrence from afar, satisfied with it's graceful destruction.

Her fingers gliding across the glass of the broken window, she used her other hand to feel in front of her for any objects that she could possibly run into. She was doing well until she didn't feel the chair strewn on the floor, then tripped over it. There was a loud snap off the wood and the thud of her body hitting the floor. The girl sort of just lay there, unmoving, but she was okay.

His ears quirked up to the faint sound of a sort of material breaking. Is it glass? No. If it was, there would have been a shattering noise. Wood? Maybe, the termites in this building could have caused a beam to fall. Whatever it was, he paid no mind. It didn't concern him that much, considering he was a person who didn't have much to live for. He wasn't depressed, just ready for death if it were to open it's warm and reassuring hands to him.

The girl picked herself up and quietly gathered the broken wood in her arms, then tossed it out the window with a soft grunt of pain. Her eyes stared blankly ahead as she listened for the sound of the chair hitting the pavement below her.

As the boy was about to stand from his favorite spot inside the abandoned apartment, he saw a flash of decayed wood fly out the window. The rain obscured the form of the wood but he could only guess that it was some sort of furnishing. Hearing it make a loud noise caused him to cringe. Whoever threw that is stupid. That's going to attract attention. I should get out of here. He started to stumble down the hall, accidentally falling on a thumbtack. It hit against his palm but he stood up, took it out and wash the blood start seeping out. He let out a sigh, not feeling the searing pain a normal person would've felt.

The girl was out in the hall now, heading towards the stairs to get upstairs. There were people following her and she knew it. She could here them. Her breathing began to pick up as well as her pace as she ran to get to the staircase, hoping there was nothing in her way as she stumbled.

Before he realized the tiny figure materializing as she stumbled up the stairs, he had already crashed into her. They both tumbled down back to the floor below. "F*ck!" She had landed on him. Though he couldn't feel any of their tumble down the stairs, his body started to numb. A clear sign he was badly injured. When he looked at his left arm, his eyes widened. It was bent at an awkward angle. "Ugh, just what I needed. Dammit." He gently pushed the girl off and started to work his left arm back.

The girl had gone completely still, terrified. Her body quickly kicked into gear and she heard the people coming nearer as she began to stumble up to stairs again. There was that mark on her neck.

"Hey!" He screamed at the girl. He could also hear the approaching footsteps. A part of him hoped that they weren't hostile or enemies but the better part of him told him to follow the girl. Though he didn't realize it, his peripheral vision caught the glimpse of the Mark that distinguished code bearers. He stumbled to his feet, hearing the loud crack of his arm locking back into place, and ran up the stairs to follow the girl.
