So,
I go online and find out some of my more favored animes are finally available in both subbed and dubbed versions. As and anime purist I prefer the japanese/subtitled version, and so since the show I want to watch has both, I opened up the app on my PS3 and started to watch but they are all dubbed versions (and annoyingly inaccurate too).
How do I tell CrunchyRoll, either in my global profile for all streaming devices, or on my PS3 that I only, and ever want the japanese/subtitled editions of anime.
this is rather depressing because I really like the shows but if it defaults me to dubbed versions I will have to terminate my account. I hate dubs.

Thanks

There's no way to set that, since the dubbed and subbed versions exist as separate episodes. You'll have to manually select the first subbed episode and play a few minutes on PC in order for it to show up in your queue (I wouldn't recommend trying to get this to work on the PS3 due to bugs in the app.

If one of the shows in question is Rurouni Kenshin, that dub is actually pretty decent, especially compared to the awful track produced by Sony's "Samurai X."

There are only 8 titles on CR with a dub track, so this shouldn't be a wide spread problem for you, or anyone else.

The subs and dubs are listed as two separate playlists. You need to play the episodes that are labeled as subbed.

Normally we see people asking how to turn on the English dub for anime on CR, and having to explain to them that CR does not specialize in providing dubbed anime, not the other way around.
