i guess I'm the only one a bit disappointed with this season so far...

Not really. Two of the shows I really wanted are blocked out of the UK. And if last season is anything to go by, that's enough to break my CR momentum if I am watching those shows elsewhere. (Whether another legit service or... otherwise)

And before anyone starts saying how many shows we are getting, I am going to throw in a quick analogy.
It is like when the coffee shop in my work building has a totally full fridge, but no bacon rolls. There may be a lot to choose from, but that it little consolation when my heart is set on bacon.

Having said that, having recently plowed through Bakamonogatari and Nisemonogatari, I will be doing likewise with the rest of Monogatari as this seasons kicks off. So that might just be enough to get me some Crunchyroll Momentum going.

But, yeah, rather disappointing season. Several "won't watch" a fair few "would like to watch" and a couple of key "can't watch here".

Hah! Already saw the first episode of Witchcraft Works on another site. CR, you won't be able to sell me a premium membership if you're a week behind!

BTW, the first episode of WW was interesting enough to make me want to see episode 2.

For episode 2, you won't be seeing it a week early elsewhere, as that first episode was a preview airing on the Bandai Channel on December 30 in Japan.

There has been only one time I can recall CR getting a preview airing of a series.

Same.

So far, there are two titles on my "watch elsewhere or don't watch at all" list, due to licensing restrictions. They're probably the ones that would keep me watching other stuff.

Meh, I really only care about Space Dandy, Pupa, Hamatora, Super Sonico and a few anime overlapping from last year. I've had several lifetimes' fill of the jarring high school romance comedies that the anime industry is so over-saturated with. Like 9 of these gets pumped out every season.

Someone else said it was a pre-screened episode, too. I wouldn't assume that based on a lack of next episode previews, since a quite a few shows don't include them, or they aren't available on certain sites. Toriko never had episode previews on Hulu, for example.

Anywho, I just checked Wikipedia, and it says WW is scheduled for Jan. 5, so that was a pre-screened episode. No biggie. I have so many shows to watch that I can afford to wait a week for CR to get it proper. First World problems!

You would likely turn blue and pass out if you did, as Maken-ki 2 was announced on Christmas day as one of Funimation's simulcasts. No surprise, given that the simulcast the original series and recently released it on home video.

Odds of the other two you mentioned being here are very good.
