It all depends on how you define love. Is love frequent interactions with people that care about you? As an infant, normal development without "love" is not possible. Anyone that argues that is an idiot. There are a more than a few cases in which extreme neglect or isolation severely retarded the development of a child.

I don't know what love is. I've never experienced it. Can someone live without love? Sure. Maybe. Either way, I don't want to meet them. I am not a sentimental or emotional person, but loving something (anime, bikes, diesel trucks, guns, skiing, etc.) keeps me from hating the world. Loving people? Well, that's a tough one. People suck. There are a few exceptions to that rule, but they are few and far between and I don't meet very many people.

If only it were that easy. But I think love gives a person experience. Heartbreak can give one wisdom. And those who seek out love after their hearts are broken are those who have really lived.

People have already answered this question quite effectively. I would say the answer is no because you can't be truly happy without it. It doesn't necessarily have to be romantic type love but it can be love from your family. Although, the romantic type does have a higher degree of affect on you due to the intimacy of course. Physically, you can live without it, but without emotion, you are just a shell. Your emotions are a major part of who you are.

I've lived most if not all of my life that way. Yes.

Don't they become a psychopath? The sociopath seem fine without love.

Yes, but not very well. Human beings need empathy.

I think that existing without loving or the love of another human is possible, it would just be harder to find a reason to.

Ooh, interesting.
Well, I don't believe so. Love is extremely important.

Love is warm so ..

You need warmth around you.
Not necessary from a man or partner..
It could be a place ..

I highly doubt it. You don't need it in a romantic sense but without it in some form, whether it being platonic friendship or positive relationship with one's family, life can be quite a miserable place indeed.

In all technicality, yes, a person can live without love. But they aren't living to their fullest potential. They are living at their bare minimum.

People may say we don't need it, but I think we honestly do need reliance/care towards other people to stay sane. I certainly wouldn't know what to do without my friends and family.
I know this question is more towards romance, in which case I'd say yes and no. Many people say they can't go on without love, and some say they don't need it at all. I think it's just a pleasant part of being living creatures.
