Trying to find a display case for all my collection and so my collection can grow. Anybody out there found any good cases? Looking for something fairly large for relativley cheap. Like, 6'X4', though most of what i find comes in around 2K. Toying with building my own, but may be moving soon, and it would be build into the wall.

I'm right there with ya, been looking for glass cases for a long time and never found something suitable to me. I also have slanted ceilings in my room, limiting wall space. Probably will build my own shelf, and on part of it, screw in some glass doors.

if you know a cheap furniture place, they're usually cheap. but the glass they used is called "tempered glass"... and I think that's a really bad quality glass.. as it comes with a warning that says, "it breaks easily if there is sudden temperature change or slight scratch"...

I'm using one as my PC desk and it hasn't broke yet, coffee table and teacup cabinet. only time will tell.

i'm just giving a suggestion, I don't want to be liable for any damage caused by using this cheap glass though.

I have always liked glass displays, but sorry I have no recommendations.

I bought a shelf from Target I think and put it together myself that has all my figures on it. I didn't actually anticipate filling it so fast so I need a larger one, but it's sufficed.

When I get a house I'll look for something a little better, although the shelf has done more than well enough considering the purposes for buying it.

The suggestion for building one yourself is my highest recommendation...unless you're bad at building things.

The primary reason is you're able to be as cheap or expensive as you need, and modify/recreate it as you need. I do not recommend building it into a wall however, as that's an easy way to screw up your wall with little, unkeepable, gain.

The primary question is "Do you really need a GLASS DISPLAY CASE" or can it be settled with a standard open ended viewing shelf thing.....which should be rather cheap to obtain.

If you have a massive collection of Figure already, and I'm talking about 60+, go for whichever holds the collection.
