Yep, my most anticipated one. I was drawn in by the artwork almost instantly but that might just be me.

If they follow the manga like stark mentions, it'll be great.

Why are you hyping this again?

remember Nisekoi...

And there was nothing wrong with Nisekoi nothing

I enjoy Nisekoi. My problem was I got bored of it when I got around chapter 90. Like someone mentioned before I hope they don't censor this one, but I think some people will be surprised by this.

I'm on the fence about this one, I'm going to wait to see what people think of the first episode before I decide to pick it up or not. Probably will though.

Just finished re-reading what is available of this manga

A warning/notification to any one who will be watching this so that they can't complain later on for the way the show might turn out:

Very vague and very general spoiler below from a manga reader to non-manga readers to keep expectations in check unless you're like me and want to hype this to the moon ->

Hope this is 24/26 episodes, I think there's enough source material from the manga to make it that long.

Do we know the voice cast yet?

I'm not sure on episode # yet but some voice casting have been announced:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-03-06/brynhildr-in-the-darkness-anime-tv-ad-outlines-story
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-03-19/hiroki-touchi-tatsuhisa-suzuki-join-brynhildr-in-the-darkness-anime-cast

I think there are at least 80+ chapters in total (including RAW) so hoping for 2 cour.

Wow, they pretty much nailed Ryota and Neko. Hype rising.

First time I saw this, I was ehhh...but I am at least mildly interested at this point, enough to give it a go when it starts airing.

Not much a a manga reader, tbh, but I've heard from enough people that this is better than average, so that's enough for a trial run for the show.

It looks intense and cool, but something about it just feels...off? to me.

I'm going to give it a try, at the least, though.

Maybe the fan service scenes seeming a little prevalent? Yes, there's fan service in the manga too. But when sh!t hits the fan, it hits the fan hard.

There wasn't that much fanservice in the PV, though, was there?

Idk...maybe it's just that I felt all the PV showed was character designs, blood with shouting and intense music without any real explanation. That doesn't really whet my appetite for a series.

But I'll be giving it a chance regardless.
