I was hoping for some story, I got more fanservice. I mean, it was cute and fun enough but... eh, whatever.
I don't even know why I'm surprised about being disappointed. So much potential, so little pay-off was the theme of the show.

The manga's next on my list, I hear that actually delivers on it's promise.

I couldn't watch it through. Was simply pointless fanservice. Plus i rather got the impression that the quality of things had dropped considerably.

Loved the 1st Op and the series till about 3/4ths of the way through then it seems like somebody hit the panic button and rushed everything to the bitter conclusion.

Rumor is that it was supposed to be 2 cour, one of those "see you in September!" final episode messages. Then someone pulled the plug so they had to finish up the last 2/3 of the books in the last 1/3 of the episodes, hence they skipped 20 chapters and then put 60 chapters in the last 2 episodes and actually got AHEAD of the published tankobons... fastest rushjob in the history of anime adaptations.

I actually think it turned out pretty well all things considered. It is sad that it didn't get the time it deserved. The characters are so great, the story is awesome... ah well, manga volume 11 next month...

It felt like what you described. And I didn't hate the show by any means. I just wish we had more time to savor and have a proper build up to the end. It's like a good steak; I don't want it jammed down my throat, but take time to appreciate the taste and the way it was prepared.

OVA 1

Got around to watching it. I probably should have skipped this, but I guess my love for the manga is just too strong.

Anyways, I'm not surprised by this at all. It was a dream episode with tons of uncensored fanservice. Nothing more, nothing less. Ugh...... Seriously, they should have just made this OVA a hentai and then their would have actually have been a purpose to this episode. The uncensored fanservice was the only good thing, but the whole OVA has a whole was just laughable and pathetic.

At least this is the final nail in the coffin for Arm's adaptation of Brynhildr. The manga doesn't have to be humiliated anymore. Thank Jesus.

Makes sense because they were actually doing good up until like episode 8 or 9, then shit just hit the fan real fast.

And even if it were 25 episodes, that still wouldn't have been enough to conclude the story since the manga I don't think is that close to finishing. Currently in the story, they're facing an even bigger problem than what was going on previously.
