Hey guys,

Our third announcement of the day is none other than Magical Warfare! Starting on Thursday, January 9 at 12:30pm Pacific Time for Crunchyroll members in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

In this modern magic action story, Takeshi Nanase is an ordinary high school boy who has a somewhat dark past. Due to certain circumstances, he formed a "fake" couple with his childhood friend Kurumi Isoshima, but otherwise, he lives a normal life. However, one day, he comes across a girl named Mui Aiba, in a uniform he has never seen before, collapsed on the school campus. This encounters changes Takeshi's destiny completely. Mui tells Takeshi that she is a magician, and she apologizes, for she turned Takeshi into a magician, too. What Takeshi once knew as one world is actually two — one world where magicians live and the other world where humans live.

Happy Friday and let's kick off the weekend with an announcement that I know many of you have been looking forward to, ever since last season!

That's right, Pupa, is coming to Crunchyroll this Winter! Starting on Thursday, January 9 at 12:30pm Pacific Time, Crunchyroll members in the following territories will be able to enjoy the flesh-eating horror series: USA, Canada, and Latin America.

Based on a manga series written and illustrated by Sayaka Mogi, Pupa tells the story of a brother and sister who both become infected by a virus that transforms the sister, Yume, into a flesh eating monster when hungry, and giving the brother, Utsutsu, superhuman healing and regenerative powers. In a relationship where one takes and the other can give, thus begins the story of Utsutsu and Yume Hasegawa…

Originally scheduled to be released last year, Pupa finally makes its debut from Studio DEEN, also known for works like MEGANEBU! and Rurouni Kenshin, with direction by Tomomi Mochizuki. Nobunaga Shimasaki, Satoru Furuya in Ace of the Diamond and Shinnosuke Aikawa in Silver Spoon, plays the protective older brother Utsutsu, and Ibuki Kido, Kasumi Shinomiya in GJ Club and Chinami Oka from Golden Time, stars as the younger sister Yume.

Looks like a twisted combination of incest and gore. Nice try, but I've seen Elfen Lied and Kiss x sis. You can't scare me!

Not into horror so pass on Pupa.

Although this season's crop of incest shows are very interesting at least.

(I imagine the series will have the Mature filter on it so kids don't accidentally watch it)

Wait, so bro-con and sis-con is now called incest? Like bromance gets called yaoi? I only saw sis-con in the manga (or at least the first part - I didn't read the later parts, but since it's a shounen manga, I highly doubt it will go there). And personally, I don't call it incest when it's only at that level.
