Out of the ones I did watch in 2013 (***Note: All of these are actually my top 10 favs of 2013, in no particular order***):

Attack on Titan - Not even going to bother explaining this one lol ^^"

Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club - Haters gonna hate

Samurai Flamenco - A great story full of morals and great characters, and for the record, I'm actually not minding any of the surprising twists in the series....they're keeping me interested ^^"

Galilei Donna - Pretty surprised at how much I liked this series, especially since I was bored during the first 3 episodes, but thankfully it picked up from there and really impressed me in the end

Nagi no Asukara - A beautiful series with some really compelling drama between the main characters. I love the concept of people who live underwater and the discrimination between the People of the Sea and the People on the Surface. Plus that major twist at the end of episode 13 just blew my mind!

Silver Spoon - An educational show that's both entertaining and informative about agriculture/farming. Not to mention it has great comedy and characters to match. A complete surprise to me and I'm sure most people who watched it at how good it turned out. Can't wait for Season 2 to premiere soon!!!

Coppelion - I find that this is one of the most underrated series of 2013, along with a few other titles. For me, this series was like a roller coaster when it came to my enjoyment. It started out great, then it got slow and boring throughout the middle, then it got great with the introduction of the Ozu Sisters and stayed great from there all the way until the end. This show deserves way more love.

Kyoukai no Kanata - Apparently by others, this isn't a good adaptation from its original source, but I have not read that original source, so I don't care, I still enjoyed watching this beautiful anime from none other than KyoAni. It was gorgeous to look at when watching, dat ending song >w<, and all the characters were amazing. Definitely one of KyoAni's best works imo.

The Eccentric Family - A new, original concept that came out a lot better than I expected it to. I was bored during the first few episodes, but it eventually picked up for me and I was always looking forward to each episode.Very interesting in deed.

Gingitsune: Messenger Fox of the Gods - A great, new, light and refreshing story about the daily life at a shrine and the friendship between a shrine maiden girl and a herald to the gods.

A small part of me worries when I get hyped for something that it will disappoint, the more hype the more worry. Seeing as this was sold as "THE NEXT THING FROM THE CREATORS OF GURREN LAGANN, AND LITTLE WITCH" I was pretty worried. Thankfully the show was everything I wanted it to be and more. It also birthed one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, it's so sick.

I am currently, as of this moment, listening to Kill la Kill OST track 11, Light your heart. It's as up beat as freaking possible.

I blame the director, Hiroyuki Ishima has a really good track record. Gurren Lagann, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, Dead Leaves.
The soundtracks are especially addictive, I'm not sure i Kill la Kills track will beat out Panty and Stockings however.

Something about those inspiring tracks' like "Dancefloor Orgy" and "Beverly Hills Cock"

Nothing beats Satsuki's theme however, I don't think that one is ever leaving my head. Sure sure "Don't lose your Waaaaay" is the new "ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWA" but Satsuki's theme has that inspirational feel to it. When that track plays, you want to line up with the rest of those 1-Stars and salute. You can feel her power straight out of that song, while Ryuko hasn't yet hit the moment in which "Don't lose your way" hits real impact.

Like, despite hearing Row Row fight the Powa every single episode, it never hit me until it played behind Kitan way over in Episode 21 or so. Slowly building in that moment only to play at full blast at just the right time REALLY got us back during that.

I'm waiting for the one moment which that song has emotionally grips me, because I expect it to show up eventually.

Kill la Kill really impressed me this year too! Halfway done and already part of my top 15 anime of all time!
But its Mistress Ragyo's theme that really impresses me from the soundtrack! Just her single scene in episode 11 sent chills down my spine!!

Her 15 Second Cameo back in episode 7 was the more impressive moment to me. That was the debut of her theme and it delivered gloriously.

Kill La Kill hands down wins this, since I wasn't really expecting much out of it, but it's been truly awesome so far

I just realised how little anime i watched in 2013 XD. But let's see.

Watamote i really fell in love with. It's a simple comedy about a girl who tries too hard but it's very funny and easy to relate to. Also has a great opening theme.

The World God Only Knows has been going from strength to strength and the 3rd season has really taken it to new levels. The storyline with the goddesses was fun and i liked Haqua having a larger role.

Log Horizon is really exciting me with what they have done so far. I like how it's an MMO anime about being in an MMO and how the people within the game relate to it. It doesn't need silly gimmicks like evil game makers making a Battle Royale death game or something like that. It's simply what if a game we played somehow became real what would the NPC's be like if they could say anything not scripted etc etc.

Kill la Kill i don't think i need to say much of why this is so impressive. It's cool, funny, has great music, memorable characters and just is everything an anime should be rolled into a ball of slapstick crazyness and Japanese pop culture jokes. It's like the spiritual sequel to FLCL it's the first anime to really give me the same feeling when i watch it.

Ghost In The Shell: Arise is the retelling of the original movie plus a prequel all in one. This is being done in OVA format and two of them came out in 2013. The same great storytelling and action expected of a Ghost In The Shell title are present while still offering something fresh and new. The same great artwork and soundtrack are present as it has been in Ghost In The Shell all along and i'm looking forward to the next installments this year.

Watamote

I really didn't think I would end up liking it as much as I did, but I ended up getting addicted to it. I was disappointed when it ended.

Non Non Biyori was a very pleasant surprise this season. I really enjoyed the simplicity and overall melancholy atmosphere. Silver Spoon gets a very close second.
