Thumbs up, Good find! Digimon was a class show. Original series available on netflix. I am guessing this newer one is able to stand alone?

What about Space Brothers? I haven't seen it but it's a possibility.

If someone else knows for sure either way.

He's seen Sharknado (Ok he watched it with me) but I know he doesn't play games like call of duty. He just doesn't have them. He has a Wii. His mom is particular. Maybe the most violent thing he plays is Minecraft? He's got a tendency to get very addicted to games, so his mom limits how many and what kind are in the house.

Besides, they shouldn't be rushed into those things at that age, they're kids.

oh wow that's kinda rare these days... i gave you those suggestions because most boys these days are accustomed to call of duty and other violent forms of entertainment. I was just playing borderlands 2 with my 7 year old nephew and hes better at call of duty so yeah....

I don't think any of my other friends' little kids play those games either. They might see daddy play them but I don't think the kids play them. It's usually Mario Kart and stuff.

It's pretty cool with all the action and Balsa's motherly qualities.

I recommend Time of Eve because robots and coffee...

Jesus! I just realized how little I know about kids these days, I hope I never have one. I'd recommend Lucky Star, and maybe try some non-h visual novels, I sure as hell would've loved those when I was 9.

I would recommend the sports shows like Eyeshield 21 and Yowapeda. There are some good moral lessons in those about hard work and team effort. plus they are great shows.

My son is 10 (he'll be 11 in March), and he's been watching anime for several years. The shows he's liked are:

Naruto, Naruto Shippuden
Inuyasha, Inuyasha: The Final Act
Slayers, Slayers Next, Slayers Try
Bleach
Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z
Sergeant Frog
Kage Kara Mamoru! (to laugh at the girl sing the "Banana" song...LOL)
Kekkaishi
Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!
Minami-ke (all seasons)
Nabari no Ou
Soul Eater
Fairy Tail
Working!!, Working'!!
Nurarihyon no Mago, Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou
Arakawa Under the Bridge, Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge
Blue Exorcist
Accel World
Sword Art Online
Kids on the Slope (because he likes jazz)
Blood Lad (though the end pissed him off)
Kamisama Hajimemashita
Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!
Hataraku Maou-sama!
Silver Spoon
Servant x Service
The Eccentric Family
Detective Conan
Hayate the Combat Butler!
Gintama (I monitor this one because many of the episodes are a bit much for someone his age)
Toriko
Chihayafuru (both seasons)
Hunter x Hunter (his absolute favorite)
Shin Sekai Yori
Yowamushi Pedal
Ace of the Diamond
Kyousougiga

There are others that he hasn't finished or doesn't make much effort to keep up with. He also watches stuff like Pokémon, Digimon, etc. But, over the past 3-4 years, these are the shows he's liked the most (and that I, as a parent, didn't have an issue with him watching).
