Hey guys,

lugiamania here with one of the most hotly aniticipated titles of this season, Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! REN will be joining the Crunchyroll Winter 2014 Lineup on Thursday, January 9 at 9:30am Pacific Time.

The news section announcement says Wednesday the 8th, which date is correct?

Should be the 8th since that is the day it begins airing in Japan.

But one day (or more) delayed shows are fairly frequent. Engaged to the Unidentified and Witch Craft Works are examples from this season.

Still waiting for Wizars Barristers and Nisekoi. My hopes are fading...

Your lack of faith is disturbing.

Seriously, there are 6 days until the first premieres and 5 days until the second.

We already know that Animax has stated they have licensed Nisekoi and they simulcast via Hulu, CR, and Daisuki, so your real concerns should be: (1) Would CR's stream be delayed by a Daiksuki timed exclusive like Monotgatari, and (2) Will it be available for your region?

Interesting that they also got Nobunagun, as it doesn't seem to be as high a profile title as Attack on Titan was.

With these and their 3 continuing simulcasts, Funimation apparently finally beats their previous simulcast record of summer 2010 (which as I recall had 8 new simulcasts, but only 2 continuing ones).

And now my answer to "was it worth subscribing to CR?" has been given.

It wasn't. Not since I live in the UK. Hopefully a decent fansub group picks up Chunibyo, I certainly won't be renewing my sub.

Yes, I was kinda suprised as well. I hope they don't keep streaming this much titles at upcoming seasons, because it's gonna be real bad for people outside USA since that even here a lot of people are still missing many titles, so it's gonna be real bad if FUN keeps getting more animes (and good ones, which is worse). I guess I can start giving up watching Buddy Complex and NO-RIN lol

I take issue with your romanization of chuunibyou, CR. People should be aware of long vowels, darnit.

Now excuse me while I eat toufu with a sumou who does juudou.

Take it up with TBS or Sentai since that is the official English title.

And yeah I call it Chuunibyou too(I've also seen others uses Chuu-2 byou)

Hopefully there will be a trend toward more non-exclusives like Nobunagun and Attack on Titan.

For better or worse, that is following the same title used by TAN when they handled the simulcast of the first series:
http://www.theanimenetwork.com/Anime/Love-Chunibyo-Other-Delusions/Watch

Either that means Sentai is determining the title, or it was the Japanese licensor's choice of the English title.
