I look in my queue list and want to see if there's new episode released after the episode that I haven't watched so I pressed "Videos" then there's list of all episodes, I scroll it by using D-Pad or L2/R2 for next season. It will crash after certain amount of episodes scrolled.

Note: This "always" happen, not sometimes or rarely.

It would probably help troubleshoot this if you included on which series you've experienced this issue.

I do believe this is a known problem, though.

Yes, this is definitely a known issue. There are several other issues that will cause crashes as well such as scrolling through too many shows in your queue or watching too many episodes in a row.

There is a memory leak in the app, so the trick is to limit your button presses while in the PS3 app. I always put the show I'd like to watch first in my queue via the website, then quit the PS3 app after each episode to prevent crashing. It's a pain, but it works for me. I do hope they fix it soon since we've been waiting quite a while on this.

It happens to all series in my queue.

Glad to see that I am not only one here. This problem has been around for long time now. Are they even working on the app?

Theoretically, they are working on a fix for the app. No time frame has been announced, but it's been "in progress" for quite a while now.

Sorry to post here, I just have a silly little question about this same issue. When I'm scrolling or watching the screen turns black and I have to reset the PS3, right. Is this gonna do any damage to my PS3? I don't mind messing with it but I just bought this machine and I'd really rather not lose another one.
