In the unlikely event that you've been outside, you know that it's cold as balls; cold enough for my previously predicted polar bear apocalypse to ensue.

While I haven't seen any on my brief expeditions outside, I am weary, so I periodically send a small dog out to patrol what has become the yeti's frozen anus. But what are you guys doing to brave the cold? What did the frost giant's wrath bring to you- a neighborhood that's just an unbearable frozen wasteland? Do you have snow on your front lawn, or are you keeping a paranoid eye out for polar bears?

While some people may lament the winter weather, I for one am quite glad that it has finally come for twofold reasons.

First, it reassures me that global warming has not become so bad winter has ceased to exist. Yet.

Second, it gives me an excuse to don my ninja garb, a.k.a. the "serial killer" hoodie with headband and neckwarmer. Such ninja.

I've mostly been staying in my office with a space heater at my back.. but I found out that the thermostat in my house reads the temperature in my office, so using my space heater makes the rest of the house stay colder than I thought! Makes it tough to venture out for lunch....

The other day it was nearly -30 degrees, it was cold as shit. Still didn't stop me from running outside, the rest of my family called me crazy and retarded lol. Anyway it's crazy, I live in Montreal and honestly the pollution here is dense as fuck, yet despite that it still does -30 degrees.

Other Canadian regions have been seeing -40 degrees to -60 degrees, this country is scary as shit.

What's crazy about where I live is that it was 53 degrees this morning, but it's supposed to be 9 tomorrow.

Michigan here: -6 degrees Fahrenheit (°F) with a windchill of -20 degrees Fahrenheit (°F) currently. We're forecast to drop to -13 degrees (°F) with a windchill of -33 degrees (°F). Damn cold. My heating bill is going to be insane this month.

I love the term "arctic vortex," it sounds like a professional wrestling move or something from an Austin Powers movie.

Just came in from taking two dogs out. Whooot...! I felt it to be pretty cool, until one of the pooches' leash slipped and the dog ran off. Guess where he went? He made a "record-setting" bee-line to the front door. lol
