I think the best way of money online is by becoming a writer for a parody encyclopedia, like KnowYourMeme or the OnionNews. Are there other good ways of making money online? Of course, I don't plan on making money online through illegal means.

I just want to make some money online, since I spend all of my time on the Internet. And I'm a 20 something college drop-out. I decided I might want to become a writer of parody/satirical articles because I'm very knowledgeable about Internet culture/memes. And I love parody wikis!

Is this a good idea? Are there other ways I can make money online through legal means?

I do a lot of online consulting (nutrition/strength training) and I also do a good bit of free lance development work. Depending on the amount of hours I put in I can usually bring in an extra 3-4k a month extra.

Creating Youtube videos is the only thing I have in mind.Although you need to be a ''youtube partner'' since you want to get paid.

Find some new way for people to interact and make a website for them to do so, and collect user data and target ads to them to create revenue. It's amazing what people get into these days... facebook, twitter, snapchat... I have no interest in them but I can't deny they are successful. Hell, you could probably make a site where people are randomly matched up to have a beer together at a random local bar and can write about the experience afterward and have it catch on nowadays.

I would say though that if you really want to make money, find a way to not be the one that has to create content. It takes time, effort and creativity to do that. It also takes some work to even get anyone to go to your site.

Instead of doing that, get users interacting with one another, or posting content of their own, and then dragging other people into it. Most popular sites these days appeal to people's sense of self-interest - e.g the You in YouTube isn't there for show. Someone posts a video, then they convince others to go to your site.

While they're making all that effort, what do you do? You just host the content... a bit more, yes, you have to provide the framework, but you get the point. Basically, tricking everyone else into being your assembly line... seems to be how people make money on the Internet these days.

I have tried all sorts of online businesses including youtube, affiliate marketing etc. I actually come across a site at the beginning of Dec 13 http://www.10dollarmiraclesite.com and was amazed that I had actually made $350 by Christmas. I was gobsmacked to say the least because it only cost me $10. Oh.... and not only that...... the $350 is now also residual income which means I will get paid over and over every month for my efforts. I now pay $10 per month for the privelege of receiving the $350 and I have been constantly building my business since.

The best part is that I didn't have to wait to get paid, every time someone joined my business at the joining fee of $10 that $10 went straight into my Paypal account.

Yup, I hear you say, TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, well it too good.....but it is true. Oh and DesuMaiden it is all above board and legal. Honestly go and take a read for yourself....if you are spending that much time on the internet you might as well be making some mulla.

Ps.....for the $350 over about 3 weeks I spent approx a half hour a day promoting my business.

Cheers oh and the site again is http://www.10dollarmiraclesite.com

Sounds like a pyramid scheme, which isn't legal.

I have been using paid surveys from quite some time. Surveys like Opinion Outpost, Cada cabeza, , ipsos i-say etc provide considerable amount of money in return of surveys taken by a particular. All that you need to do is register and start filling survey forms. You can find the listing of legit survey panels on sites like getpaidsurveys.com .

I use Ebay to sell the parts I don't keep from my cars and bikes....

Buy car for 200, sell 500 bucks worth of parts easily... though I put alot more than that into the car when building it :3
