The main thing about Youtube is, even if you do become popular, your views taper off after about 2 - 3 days on videos. This means that you need to keep putting out new content. So, you're going to be putting in about 60 - 70 hours a week, at least, and probably working 7 days a week not only making videos, but further self-promoting and such. Plus, you don't get benefits like health insurance and the like.

Obviously, if you're one of the super popular channels that's making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year off youtube then you can afford to take time off here and there and paying for your own insurance should be no sweat. But, it takes a long time and a lot of luck to get to that point.

This is why I don't monetize my videos and just do it in my free time. I like putting out content, but I have no qualms about ever making money off it.

There are better and more lucrative ways to make some easy money, take cans and bottles back to the depot for a refund for example... Maybe get off your ass and get a normal job? Oh right... People these days want money handed to them with out them actually having to do anything for it...

Put something interesting out there and advertise. How you go about that is entirely up to you, I went the podcast route.

You can't make a stable income off Youtube, but it isn't THAT difficult making some money off Youtube.

Kind of a dull processes but online surveys, they pay but you have to do A LOT of them, agree to have them fill your inbox with crap emails and given out your personal info to every survey that you take (name, address, age, income, habits)
Other than that maybe focus testing, its where you agree to let a company test a product, drug on you and you get paid for it.

Instead of working online checkout working at home, I think there's a site called workathome.com or something, use Google, you make good cash and its a job where you don't have to punch in or even worry about hours or bosses, its real and it works, check it out.

I have been using paid surveys from quite some time. Surveys like Opinion Outpost, Cada cabeza, , ipsos i-say etc provide considerable amount of money in return of surveys taken by a particular. All that you need to do is register and start filling survey forms. You can find the listing of legit survey panels on sites like getpaidsurveys.com .

How much money can you make off of this in say, an hour? I am really interested in this as I am only 14 and I am also lazy, so online surveys sound pretty sexy.
