Thanks. I only recently discovered those sites, though maybe they haven't been around long. I'll have to keep an eye on them. I was wondering what alternatives there were for the UK.

AFAIK, both have only been around in the UK since the fall 2013 season (although there could have been a closed beta I am unaware of).

Basically, Anime on Demand faded out, CR had perhaps a couple of seasons uncontested for simulcasts for the UK, then these two sites launched.

unless it was a very closed beta, you're right.

Animax had announced for a while, apparently, then went silent until this autumn just gone past when they went like.

Wakanim was announced exactly as they announced having Kill la Kill... the day after the broadcast and about the same time the fansubs hit the net. (I'm still not convinced the timing was ideal there)

The thing about CR being "uncontested" is that it still didn't mean that they got the UK rights to shows they had elsewhere. There was still a small gap in their catalogue over here. One many of us, even a relatively new subscriber like myself, desperately hoped could be closed.

Noragami and NO-RIN are FUNimation's simulcasts and Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta has already been announced a few days ago.

"North America, South America, European regions (except UK,IE,French and German speaking regions - sorry guys), Middle East, Arab League(including Israel), and South Africa"
Pardon me a second.
Could you guys clarify something for me?
"European regions (except UK,IE,French and German speaking regions - sorry guys)"
What does IE stand for? Because I live in Italy and it's not licensed here, but Italy is nor UK, nor french or german speaking region.

IE stands for Ireland, which I know as a resident of said country.
