Our forum looked a bit barren, so I figured we should start with the basics - getting to know a bit about one another.

So, tell us something interesting about yourself. What drew you to Crunchyroll? What kind of anime do you enjoy? Hobbies? Feel free to be as elaborate as you like.

Good thinking starting a forum, Names Gerry Ocampo
I like basically all kinds of anime but have a deep love for mecha anime in particular. I'm currently in college majoring in computer engineering so I might not have as much time to chat in the coming weeks.
I'm an open book so feel free to ask me anything(within reason of course) looking forward to chating and getting to know everyone!!

Ah, a fellow mecha lover. I sometimes feel like we're a dying a crowd as so few people seem to appreciate the glory of giant nuclear powered robots duking it out. :P

I'm a system admin for a living, so I'm not too far from what you're going to college for. Been at it for over 3 years now. Good times, bad times, never a dull week!

Yep I've loved tech stuff since I was just a kid, so mecha animes and robotics in general have always been really appealing to me, I guess thats why I like working with computers. Always nice to meet a professional in my field of study

Nice idea!

First of all my name is Allan Kaya, I live in Denmark and love pretty much all kind/type of anime genre, but yaoi is a little exception :S lol
I study International Business in college of Copenhagen, but considering also to study art in Japan when I'm ready :)
I decided to hang out on Crunchy Roll first time after I found out that the site was legit, because I like honest work and honest work should get what it should, therefore I'm glad to pay for the things I like.

In my spare time, I play guitar, games, watching anime and reading manga obviously :P, drawing manga and attending to extra Japanese lessons. Most of these interest came after I really got into anime&manga. You can see my favorite title on my profile in photos, 'All-times Favorite Titles' it's still incomplete so I'm adding photos of the remaining titles, and trying to make this group as awesome as it can be!

If you want to know more please don't hesitate to ask

Aye, its always good to start with the basics

I am Jack lewis,
Although my names my old Username i used in games at the time .
live in great Yarmouth, England
i studied computing and business systems for 2 years in college and earned a diploma unfortunately the chances of getting a job in England let alone in computing is comparable to shooting a crossbow into a shot glass while riding a angry bull so i reluctantly had to put my goals of taking over the world one computer at a time and i "reluctantly decided to get a job" <--- get that quote and you get a cookie.

So now i am a "specialist piling and something engineer" or so they say all i know is its hard work and im not getting fired any time soon cause i make it look less harder than everyone else. XP
But because i am good with computers i amm apparently good with machines in general so i get the easier duty's to operate machinery most of the time

But to be more related to crunchyroll i joined cause i was fed up with looking around for anime only to find removed videos or bad quality ones besides i like spending money so this was immediately the place for me.
ive watched many many anime but i probably cant rmember half of them of the top of my head i easily watched over 50 complete anime series before coming to crunchy roll but at the time i dont think crunchyroll was much.

My favorite shows are
Tokko
Gurren Lagann (or anything with mechs you guys are right there )
Trigun
Angel Beats
Ouron high host club
helsing (and ultimte)
Full metal alchemist (including brotherhood)
A very diverse list i think you will agree

oh and i talk faaaar to much

Call me Hong. Everyone does. Been here since 2005, mainly used CR for anime streaming. I didn't get into groups and the community until three years ago. I'm really nice so don't feel intimidated to chat with me. If you have questions, I'll do my best to answer them.otherwise, I hope you find this group your #1 source for everything.

Welcome to the group. That is a nice collection of anime. I think the only anime that has brought me to tears was Grave of the Fireflies.

Nestled in the piney woods of East Texas a short 90 minute drive from Dallas, Tyler is home to the largest municipal rose garden in the United States. Known for its natural beauty, Tyler celebrates it rose growing history during the month of October when the roses are at their peak bloom.
So yeah Roses are pretty awesome!

I'm a sucker for roses. Looks like if I take Hwy 22, it will take me right to Tyler.

Didn't hear about it being the drug capital but you know, pretty much every has drugs. I'm currently stationed in Iredell and I frequent to Houston.
