I have many sibling but I always got what I asked for, I didn't ask often and rarely asked for expensive things. If anything I sometimes feel like I made them waste money on stupid little things I wanted as a kid, and I sometimes feel guilty about it. I wish I could pay them back when I get a good paying job, but I know they won't accept money from me.

Middle child, so I was neither privileged nor babied. I was just kind of there.

You're the big brother, just take his new toys.

That is what my older brother always did.

I'm the middle child, so I have always been the black sheep/shunned family member. But that must be really aggravating.

Hrm, I dunno really.

Typically, I never ask for anything whereas my younger brother (Who is 19) is very competitive and always tries to out do me. Usually I just let him do whatever and go about my business. I am the furthest thing from competitive and the fact that I'm content with most things makes him all mad and frustrated... 'nd that's fine by me. xD

Not really the same sort of problem, I know, but I thought I'd put my two cents in, anyway. :B

When we were younger, I would always get more expensive things before my little brother. For example, I would get a DS for my birthday, and he would get one a few months later for Christmas. I would get a cell phone for good grades or something, he would get one later for his birthday. It was a known cycle.

Around the time when I was entering high school, the cycle broke. Mostly because we didn't want the same things anymore. Our parents still insist on spending equal amounts on us for holidays, though, even when my bro asks for a new gaming console ($400) and I ask for nothing. (I end up getting $400 cash.)

On another note, I am well aware that my parents favor me and sometimes I use that to my advantage.

I'm the youngest out of the 3, but the oldest brother never been in my life than just twice and might as well add my 2nd brother and I both work, so our parents basically never bought stuff for us that we really wanted.

So, no I never had that feeling.

D: My brother never wants what I want.
I'll borrow his games to play but he has never shown any interest in the games I bought.
He won't take recommendations for books and anime from me either, even though he'll totally read them half a year later when recommended by someone else. And then get so hooked it isn't even funny.
His distrust in my sense of taste is sad.
