I've never really been the type to ask for much. When I was young, my family had a hard time even getting me to make a Christmas list or anything. There aren't many things that I want, and when there is something, I feel bad for asking for it.

My sister is nearly the exact opposite, though. She's always made so many demands and my parents have poured money they don't have into her. Now that she's older and dropped out of high school, she just drives around, partying and getting into trouble, forcing my parents into footing her bills. It's pretty horrible...

Yes, video game consoles. I used always play Gameboy Color and asked for the Advance when it came out, I never got it, but they eventually got my brother the SP.

We always shared everything. Although I am the youngest brother, We always got the Nintendo together, Xbox together and so on. But it was probably better for him, Because he got new clothes. I had to inherit his old ones..

I use it but he gets to decide if he needs to use it more. I do the same with him - that's how I managed to play Mount and Blade: Warband all day seeing as I bought the PC.

My younger sister gets everything she wants but she never asks for it. It's just handed to her by my parents.

As for me being the oldest, it's the opposite. I have to work for it, of course.. ugh

That's life, fight for what you wan't don't bicker about never getting it handed to you.

My little brother always got everything and never got in trouble, my older sister was always allowed to do whatever she pleased/treat my parents as friends, and I was just ignored, yet I was not allowed to do anything.. i am of course a middle child lol. I never really asked for anything, and I actually didn't like when they would spend money on me even if it was for clothes when I was younger. Working for your things no matter how hard it may be is much more rewarding c:

"laptop and a new ipod cause their both dinosaurs now and broken"
Ok so they did buy these for you(past) they are just old and/or you broke them?
If your about to be going to college you might want to brush up, reading those
first two sentences was a pain.

Sorry I'm not very much help here. In the past I was that brother. My sister
hated it too. If she would have just not got caught sneaking out and another
time doing drugs
... maybe she too would not be in your position.

So in the end its really hard to give you a solid opinion cause none of us
know all the facts in your life. We don't know anything about you really so
how are a bunch of strangers suppose to help? I guess just blindly is what
you hope for? Or are you just venting, which makes more sense btw.

When you are 18 and older prepare yourself for a life of receiving a lot of socks or ugly sweaters as gifts. Especially if you're a guy and your parents don't spoil you, don't expect big gifts anymore your younger siblings will get the sweet sweet joy of new tech while you struggle to buy a new iPod.
