Started reading it today and I enjoyed it. It got a fun plot and good characters. I will definitely keep reading this manga and I would recommend others to do so.

I read the manga version, simply because TAKESHI OBATA STYYYLE

I want to read the novel version soon.

Its funny, because when I was reading the manga, I kept thinking "this reminds me of that one movie commercial with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt" and then I found out it was a live-action adaptation, lol

i watched the film and read manga & novel. the story is a bit different and i prefer the film because

for novel and manga, i think both are worth to read and i like obata's draw.

It's a good read but I think it was rather short. I would have liked for it to continue for a longer time.

I agree. I actually prefer stories (in whatever form) that don't go on and on too long but tell a story and end it, but I was expecting a few more chapters to wrap this one up...there was a certain pace going, and it was certainly leading to a point where some resolution would be needed if it were not going to end up being a boringly endless story, but I was not expecting the end so soon. Really could have used a bit more building of the relationship, and development of the main problem.

However, it was good, and I'm glad I had the chance to read it. I look forward to seeing the movie, to see what gets changed and what doesn't, and if they manage to make it a little less confusing without totally dumbing it down (considering it was even all that complex in the manga.)

I wished it last longer and ended differently. But I enjoyed this series.

The book is a good read, too, if you haven't read it already.

Ditto, although I'm going to have to repurchase the book since I've no idea where it is (it's been several years since I read it). Haven't read the manga but I have seen the movie which wasn't too shabby at all (I went in with the impression that it wasn't going to be anywhere near as good as the book... And it wasn't but it was better than I thought it would be).
