I have the say The Hunger Games. I mean, neither are good, but there is a difference in magnitude of terrible.

Twilight is pretty shocking as far as terrible books go. Not only is it badly written (seriously, find some more adjectives), predictable, and full of flat characters, but it is also disturbingly anti-feminist, and I got the impression that the author did not know where she was going with the series and ended up in a really crazy place because of it. And if she did intend that, then I don't know what to say.

I will say, for popular YA stuff, The Hunger Games (the first book by itself) was not bad. It was decent and entertaining. Kind of like a good bowl of popcorn. The series followed a definite downward trajectory, though. I think the author became more and more interested in the plot of the book, and the characters became weaker and less interesting. I was pretty tired of it by the end. Of course, I was reading it at the same time that I was reading Neverwhere, so it may have suffered in comparison.

I enjoyed Twilight when I was younger and now I love Hunger Games. I think the Hunger Games is more complex and adult compared to the sparkley vampires lol. But yeah, I have enjoyed both ;P

.....Okay then, since this forum is about the books, I guess I can give my option.
I couldn't say anything about the Twilight saga, since the first movie left me a bad taste and one of the fangirls wouldn't shut up about how hot Robert Patterson was. So because of that, I haven't bother to pick up those novels (and might never will).

For the Hunger games, I'm thankful that I haven't watch the movie before reading these novels (which I explained about the Twilight Saga). Truthfully, I didn't want to read it, but it's part of my class. So one volume later.....I'm starting to get into the story. So right now, I'm now onto volume three of the Hunger Game series. The movie is confusing and seem more rushed.

I had to agree with the Hunger games characters. It seems the female protagonist went from a bully, but a badass to emotional teenager who get pissed off at everyone and sometimes cries like a baby. But then again, it could be post traumatic stress disorder after being in the games.

I've read books better than both of those. But, if I had to choose, Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games was amazing. Twilight... was one of the worst books i've ever read, hell, I didn't even finish it.

Neither one of these books are worth reading. Nor are the movies worth watching. Anne Rice is the ONLY writer who can truly bring the vampire to realization. Twilight just seemed so fake and crappy, only words I can come up with.

Well I read Twilight when I was about 12 or something and read Hunger Games when I was about 17 or so, so it makes the difference of the age experience.

I must say that at the time I enjoyed both books very much, but now I would chose Hunger Games over Twilight.
Which is because of many things, but in the end it is because

So Just out of those I would choose Hunger Games over Twilight. I believe there could be more reasons, but those is just on top of my head.

Twlight is terrible. Pretty much the Hunger Games beat it when it comes to uniqueness, but I didn't like the third book.

I'd say that The Hunger Games is much better than Twilight.

I think The Hunger Games has a better plot, and it's a pretty unique one.
