The Winter anime season is upon us, so the question is what animes are you watching, your impressions, what your looking forward to, and if you've dropped any yet.
Here's whats in my queue- Hamatora, Nobunaga the Fool, Nobunagun, Wizard Barristers, Witch Craft Works, Hozuki no Reitetsu, Magical Warfare, The Pilot's Love Song, World Conquest Zvezda Plot

Also watching Buddy complex on funimation and Space Dandy on Toonami
From Last season- Kill La Kill, Log Horizon, Hunter x Hunter, and Phi Brain

Some of the episodes haven't aired but from has aired I'm really liking Hamatora and Space Dnady
Hamatora is like a mix of DRRR and Darker than Black and since I loved both those shows I think I'm going to enjoy hamatora.
Space Dandys just wild fun and really funny can't ask for more than that
Nobunaga the Fool was ok too along with Nobunagun but both were kinda just average
The same goes for Magical Warfare and Witch Craft Work they just seem sort of generic
Of course Kill La Kill is still and always will be tops for me
So what are guys watching?

Well... In my queue I got many titles, but from ongoing anime I'm currently watching; Golden Time, Naruto, Space Brothers, Kill la Kill, Strike the blood, Hamatora, Recently My sister is unusual, Seitokai yakuindomo, Tonarino Seki-kun: The master of killing time (hes not just killing time, if you ask me, he totally executes it), Witch Craft Works, The Pilot's Love Song, Soni-Ani: SUPER SONICO THE ANIMATION, Strange+ and Hozuki no Reitetsu - there might be some missing titles, but pretty much every ongoing anime this season.

The ones I really like/was looking forward to/Interested in are: Kill la Kill, Golden Time, Space Brothers, Witch Craft Works, NiseKoi and Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! REN.

- Witch Craft Works; I really liked the first episode. It was really funny to see the main male-character to be treated like a 'princess'. Looking forward to new episodes, and it seems like it also has a Manga series from 2011 with 6 volumes(still ongoiong), I might read them too, after I watch the anime.

- Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! REN; I really enjoyed the 1st season of the series and I was surprised to see the 2nd one come so fast. It doesn't have any manga series, but a finished Light Novel series from 2011, and it's a little harder to find than manga(except in Japan), so I couldn't really read anything about it. This is the 2nd season and it also has a Film (not live action) from 2013. I think this is the final season of the series since it doesn't have any manga or novel sources, UNLESS they create a new.

- NiseKoi; Now this is a great series. It caught me from behind, before I realized. I was looking forward to anime series of this title, since the plot was great in manga and I really enjoyed it. No episodes aired yet, but it will tomorrow, in 11-01-2014. It has 1 vol. intro manga series +10 vol. ongoing normal, from 2011, and an ongoing light novel series from 2013. I assume the anime series will be as great as the manga series, so I recommend you guys to watch it tomorrow.

- Space Brothers; The first time I heard this title I thought "what? some kind of alien brothers or what?", but after I gave it a go I JUST COULDN'T GET ENOUGH. The plot is great and the characters was just amazing! The adventures of these 2 brothers was just so fun and interesting. I still enjoy the series as much as I did before, and I will continue watching to the end! It has 21 vol. ongoin manga series AND a Live-action Film from 2012!

- Golden Time; The first few episodes kinda bored me, but I realized that it was necessary, because it really makes you, stick-to-it-good on later episodes. I started to enjoy the series after finding out more of his past and relationships to other persons. It has a 10 vol. ongoing Light novel series and 4 vol. ongoing manga series, and a game -.-.. I can't probably get it.. But I'm looking forward to it's anime series', 'Grand Finalé'.

- Kill la Kill; An awesome series that I reallllly enjoyed so far. The art and the animations are just amazing (in my opinion). If you don't see a girl get seriously beaten up often and wanna' try to see, this is the series for you. Cool characters and costume designs! Blood, sweat, tear and a huge amount of action filled fighting scenes will make you go 'WOOOO X-O'. It's not an old series and it only has a 1 vol. ongoing manga from 2013, so I didn't really read it.

I'm really picky so the only anime that has caught my attention is Kill la Kill. Plot, style, and animation are decent. Almost all the characters are likable with love/hate relationship. Haven't read the manga and most likely won't plan on it mainly because I'm a lazy ass. The other anime I finished was Silver Spoon.

Yeah Kill La Kill's the one I really love right now, the anime began before the manga so the manga pretty much just follows what happens in the anime

Then there's no reason for me to read the manga. LOL!

So I just watched the first episode of World Conquest Zvezda Plot and it was pretty crazy..in a good way
Looks like it's got some potential only complaints I have are that I'm not a big fan of the costume designs for a few of the characters

So another Saturday another awesome episode of Space Dandy
The shows really growing on me, definitely a front-runner for best winter anime this year for me
Scarlet kicked all sorts of ass and next week we get a new girl
Also have to say the dubbing is really good they got just the right people for the characters(especially Ian Sinclair and Joel mcdonald)

I think Hamatora is my favorite anime so far this season. It doesn't seem like it's as main stream as others, but it has a very Getbackers vibe to it (which is a fantastic thing IMO), and some pretty unique animation to go with the interesting powers. Some good comedy on the side too. Sure beats many of the generic titles that usually get crapped out during the winter season.

There needs to be more love for Hozuki no Reitetsu in this thread. It's a very fun/funny anime and the OP is incredibly catchy. If you guys haven't checked it out, I recommend it highly for some casual anime time when you just want a good chuckle.

It's fairly obvious that Log Horizon is the stand out for me this season. Witch Craft Works and Goldentime (even with its hideous music change) both keep me coming back each week. Magi and Kill la Kill continue to deliver excellent entertainment.

The other two I have been sort of viewing are Recently my Sister has been Unusual and Wizard Baristers. I'm not exactly sure where WB is headed but I have to give it points for the first magical girl giant robo transformation I can recall.
