My car's radio can't play iPods so I just listen to CD's I check out from the library or have at home. It's usually techno, trance, classic rock, or 1980's pop.
The artists I listen to in the car would have to be Deadmau5, Basshunter, Inna, Kim Sozzi, Eric Prydz, Armin Van Buuren, Calvin Harris, Blue Oyster Cult, The Cars, Journey, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson just to name some.

Pretty much anything I usually listen to, usually loud or fast music, this is probably why I speed too much.

Agreed!
Anyway, I just plug my Ipod in and let it play through all the songs I have. Mostly anime themes/OST's, some ordinary songs in English etc.

I love electronic music, especially the stuff not made for dance floors (although I like that stuff, too), but a lot of this type of electronic music I speak for is best when listened to with headphones, not when driving a car.
So the type of music I like to listen to the most when driving is rock music. I love David Bowie and U2, so I'll listen to them while driving sometimes. Maybe play some Joe Satriani or Van Halen, or some 90s alternative rock and 90s hard rock (my fav being Stone Temple Pilots, and I like other grunge artists like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden). Playing Throwing Copper by Live is good music to drive to, as well.
Classic rock from the 70s and 60s and 80s rock is good driving music, too. Thriller by Michael Jackson is a good album to play when driving. 'Pop Rock' is good driving music, too. New Order is another good band for driving music.
