There were rumors that Shugo Chara Anime will not continue.

There will be 40% possibility that this Anime will continue this coming 2015. It's what I read.

I researched on it. 50% that Amu's Voice actor will come back to voice act Amu again but 50% that she wont.

but still, this anime will continue,

with a new voice actor. It was said that Amu's new voice actor as a cute and gentle voice unlike before.

so yeah.

I've post this on the first episode of shugo chara.

I'm not done researching about this. And i'm believing that this anime will continue...

to be honest, i'm not sure if it would be continued. Is it just rumors you heard from your friend or from different blogs/sites? I thought for sure Shugo Chara was finished. I mean, the story wasn't left in a cliffhanger or anything. It was a sort of happy or so-so ending, I believe u___u well if the rumors are true, then I might as well see the continuation!! (I hope the art is better haha)

They're making new episodes of Sailor Moon, so why would it be a surprise if Shugo Chara were to do more? I didn't read the manga, but apparently there is still some story not covered in the anime. I personally doubt it because I think they committed suicide with Party.

Similar things have happened before so it's not impossible. Examples: Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima - 3-4 years gap between pre-final and final seasons.

Anyways, I still highly doubt this is true, but I'll be fairly happy if it is, it being my first subbed Anime an' all.

Those probably aren't the best examples, as the final anime for each also closely coincided with the final light novels for each. By contrast, the Shugo Chara manga ended long ago.

A better example might be Mushi-shi. The manga ended in 2008 and the original anime series in 2006, yet it had a special earlier this season and is returning as an anime series next month.

With all that said, I always advise taking any claims of a series returning with a large pinch of salt, barring citation of credible sources. It is far too easy for someone to start a rumor based on wishful thinking.

I know that they weren't the best examples, just so happened to be the first ones that popped into my head. ^^;;

I've been hearing the Mushi-shi name around a lot, and many people have recommended it. Guess I'll go check it out later today. ^^

Just came across this post(sorry for pushing).
Well,it's 2015 now,and no shugo chara sequel is being made.
Nonetheless,SC is still one of the most popular anime shows on CR.
In that case,(I'm just imagining) can CR suggest TV Tokyo to create a sequel based on its popularity evn though the series is dead already for years?
Again,I'm just imagining. But if the series were to wake up from its eternal slimber again,I'd be overjoyed.

I don't mind it but I hope they don't do what they did in season 3.

Really?! I haven't heard these rumors but one thing is for sure. Don't believe rumors. They are rumors but not 100% promised and true. However if it does continue it would be amazing

Aw, saw this and got my hopes up a bit, but a year old rumor isn't very promising lol. It would have been a massive coincidence though ~ since Shugo Chara has been on my mind recently for some odd reason.

'Sigh' ~ would love another season.

Doesn't seem likely, but it is entirely possible.

I remember hearing about a Sailor Moon Reboot that follows the manga better than the original series and not seeing anything else about it for the longest time before, BOOM, Sailor Moon Crystal.

Besides that, the Shugo Chara anime was overflowing with filler, pointless anime exclusive characters/plot, and a completely different ending from the manga. If they think they can make money off it, then I see no reason they won't try. Whether it's a new season or a reboot probably doesn't matter.

Of course, if they do make it, I'm hoping for a good reboot like FMA Brotherhood, not a crappy final season (Zero no Tsukaima F) nor any of this bi-weekly release crud (Sailor Moon Crystal).

I would love to be able to watch the story of Shugo Chara without falling out of the experience because of pointless filler or having to deal with that god awful 3rd season.
