Music for me was something I liked since childhood, but probably not as serious as now. I had been told that I would be dancing to music even before I was 2 y/o. As I grew older to a young child I got occupied with poetry and books, and spent most of my childhood listening ti anything on the radio, which was mostly what was popular. Within those years I was able to flow with convos about music cos I knew most of the popular songs.
Eventually as time moves on we do fall into pits and things and I started to take music even more seriously and admired the sounds and lyrics behind each song. I started listening to music reflecting my mood and often it'd keep me happy in life. Like that, I began listening to not just the pop range but classical, rock, screamo, electro, nightcore and foreign music.
I found it intriguing to notice each unique beat, each guitar strum pattern and notice those small sounds that make up the song.
Nowadays alot of music include electronic sounds which are just as pleasing.

Music helped me move on from troubles and things, and now I listen to music almost 24/7. Although I tend to stick in fandom with one or a few arttist of each genre, I listen to alot of artists' songs too~ Music helps me study and I found I was able to remember math formulas by replacing the syllables for the formula in lyrics of songs I could secretly access in tests~
OuO I would say music is a big part of my life and will continue to be~
It helps me express myself too in ways that I can't. Talking through lyrics of songs is wonderful.

To me, it started before I hit high school. It was a scary place for me (if you grew up where I did; dA gh3tt0) and I just wanted to keep to myself. So I started listening to stuff I related to the most and I found Metallica was pretty dead on. I was pretty much in love with the bass playing of the old songs and later found out that Cliff Burton passed away on my birth day (not the same year though). Still made me feel like I was meant to play bass. I know, a bit silly and cliche, but that's how I felt. The world is full of it anyways!
So I started jamming the crap out of songs I thought were fun (pretty much anything fast and thrash). Joined a visual kei inspired band and we were pretty awesome for a year until the singer and I decided to leave. Well he HAD to. His visa expired I just had to for personal reasons. It sucks. Hopefully I get to be back into that love of music. I can't stand being bored and not enjoying the music scene.

I never really liked interacting with others much, (I have enough friends, but I'm definitely introverted) and music helped me be content with just myself when I needed to be. It's pulled me through tough times and made me into a better person. And now I don't use it as a crutch, but a support beam. It invigorates, inspires, motivates, and compels me to move forward.

Guitar Hero 3 got me into music. Before that, I didn't really know the existence of music. After getting that spectacular game, I've been into metal/rock music since then. Most of the songs/bands I know of I found on Guitar Hero or Rock Band lol.

I've been into music since I was a small child. It all started when I was 4 years old, my dad would play tunes from the 40's and 50's and I would tap my hands to the rhythm. When I was 5, I started taking piano lessons from my uncle who taught me everything that I know in the theory and history of music (He now writes music books for universities world wide).

When I was a teenager, still taking lessons from my uncle, my dad let me use his 1960's Gibson Les Paul guitar to practice with. He has since sold it since I lost interest in the guitar. By then I was listening to mostly pop rock and alternative music (green day, silver chair etc).

In my late teens, I discovered electronica. I loved it so much that I wanted to learn how to be a DJ and produce music. I started listing to Hardcore and Hard House DJ's such as Anabolic Frolic, Lisa Lashes and Ed Real.

In my early 20's I started to learn how to produce music on my own using various digital audio workstations. I practiced hard every day because I wanted to make music and I wanted that music to be heard and enjoyed by people. I love the feeling, the rush of adrenaline I get when I hear a really good song and I wanted my music to have the same effect on people.

Now I'm in my late 20's. I am a semi-pro producer with several tracks signed to labels, I DJ several gigs a year and I absolutely love music. Music is something that I truly enjoy and it's something I love to share with everyone.

I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.

well im pretty sure evryone has encountered music when they were a baby. i started to actually lsten to music when i was two. i would be dancing to ballet music and i was into classicals. the music made me feel lighter or somewhat free in my own world. the msic moved me more than i moved myself. so to answer this qustion dancing got me into music. the sound would mostly likely come come from a ppiano so a each note is played it swayed me more to the feeling and vibe of the song itself.

My brother bought a speaker system for his room about 4 years ago, and would have music playing whenever he was home.
