No idea, it is not very popular (Windows 7 still outsells it); I am waiting for 8.2, no Windows 9.

Windows 8 is fine if you use a start menu replacement, set it up to boot straight to the desktop, and disable all the hot corners. 8.1 does some of that, but the best thing is the 5 dollar Start8 program made by Stardock.

I don't want to see a Windows 8 app because I think resources would be better spent working on app support for other devices. Most people can just load CR from their browser in Windows 8 so it would just be a minor convenience feature.

I expect that if CR develops an app for the XBOX One, much of that code could be re-used for a Windows 8 app, since the One's app OS is essentially a cut-down version of Windows 8.

I hope it happens the other way around . Windows 8 app first then Xbox One. I plan on getting the ASUS Vivotab Note 8 but I have no plans on getting an Xbox one. I hope it has touch gestures.

They might as well just wait until Windows 9 comes out to work on an app for Crunchyroll. Windows 8.x has had such a disappointing adoption rate that rumors of 9 are already rampant and PC companies are now aggressively advertising Windows 7 systems over Win 8.

Looking at the other apps, it doesn't seem like they mind making apps for devices hardly anyone uses. So a Windows 8 app should be added to that list as well! I'll be one of the few to use it on my future 8" Windows 8 tablet!

I really love Windows 8 and is not hard at all to learn and no there is no need to replace the start screen with a outdated start menu because the start screen is a great idea and several times more useful then the old start menu.

A Crunchyroll Windows 8 App would be great just I hope if they ever make one it isn't made poorly.

There is the Netflix App for Windows 8 but it is done poorly and randomly changes aspect ratio and has terrible video quality so if you use Netflix I suggest you stay clear of the Netflix App and only use it via a web browser.

That's a good point. If Crunchyroll does a Windows 8 app, I hope they do it well. At least from an 8" touch screen point of view for me. I especially would like to have touch gestures to make it easier to go back or forward a few seconds (usually 5 seconds for me). It's hard to be accurate by moving the time position in the progress bar.

Who knows, maybe not using Flash may reduce some of the non-CDN steaming issues people are having. At least I'd finally be able to uninstall Flash.
