Why do people want to feel uncomfortable?
Nah, man i get what you are saying (i just really wanted to use that emoticon).

Watching likeable character getting stuck in hopeless situations is really hard for me, i need to pause and take breaks (often several).
So i guess it will make sense that the series wouldn't appeal to me. I also often read the comments under the video to see if it will end good or bad so that i can prepare.

I guess my closest thing to these series would be Steins;Gate ("constant", or just a long, bad feeling until conclusion). But in Steins;Gate i loved the characters.
Does this mean that other people feels the same way as me even though they don't like the characters? Or do they like the characters that i find obnoxious (mostly regarding Aku no Hana and Inside Mari because i'm more familiar with those)?

I just realized how off topic we are

Shhhhh, don't tell the mods!

I find that stories where characters you like get put in terrible situations to create the most amount of dread in me when I watch it. With Aku no Hana and Inside Mari, the characters are portrayed in a way that makes them very unlikable, but interesting none-the-less. Along with the feeling uneasiness, maybe people enjoy these kind of series because they just like to see a train wreck happening in slow motion. Sort of like why people watch drama and reality television.

Which is backed by the psychological idea of schadenfreude. Which is the idea that people enjoy when someone they despise is put into a situation where they're put into an awful situation. On one end, we feel the effects of how bad a situation they're in, but on the other, we're happy to see them suffer.

According to the initial announcement:

...updated every 1st and 3rd Tuesday in Japan, which means new chapters will be available on Crunchyroll every 1st and 3rd Monday.

Which means we should have had it yesterday...

but we didn't, and it's not listed on "coming soon" so I'm not sure what's up.

ETA: Looks like I misunderstood the announcement or it was incorrect. Inside Mari actually comes out monthly.

Boku wa Mari is a monthly series -- it doesn't publish in every issue of the magazine.

Thanks! It appears the CR info in the announcement was inaccurate (probably pertained more to the other two titles that were announced at the same time), or referred to the timing of Manga Action itself not the individual series, or I just understood it wrong.

I found an article indicating Inside Mari first appeared in the March 6 2012 issue, and if it appeared there once a month, that adds up to the 24 chapters we currently have. I'll correct my prior post.

Thanks, appreciate the info. Not a big deal, I was just curious because some titles have new release dates and this one doesn't.

When the story starts out, you feel like Komori is the creepy stalkerish character, but it seems that it was really Mari who was stalking him all along? Interesting...

I agree. I think that something just snapped in her head.

I'm going to disagree here; I think this may be a case of actual body switching, mainly because I think the behavior of Isao-in-Mari is inconsistent with the mentally-ill-Mari theory given what we know of original-Mari's history. To expand on this (spoilers through chapter 25):

Now if I'm right about this and a true body switch occurred, I can think of one plausible twist the story might take (potential spoilers for future chapters if I'm right):
