Question - Making anime must be a lot of work, do you ever get tired of it? Do you sometimes feel you should have chosen another career?

Hello Sailor Bee

This is my question:

What exactly is the workscope of the various positions in an anime studio? Namely, what’s the difference between the producer, director, series coordinator and other really ambiguous terms?

My question is:
You've directed many hits before. Was it difficult to develop such a fun, hilarious, and sweet character such as Nyarko in an anime format?
Thank you

Huge fan of the series! Hope to see more!!!

Hi!

If you had to create an original character for the show, what type of character would it be? Would it be a alien or human? Boy or Girl? Personality? Based on someone you know?

Out of all the Characters in Nyaruko, who would you choose to be your waifu or husbando and why would you choose him/her? Would you accept the Crawling Chao's advances unlike our Protagonist Mahiro?

I remember that there were lots of different Cultural References from Other Works involving Eastern Pop Culture that could be found In Nyaruko! So my question is, Which of those references are your favorite and how long did it take to harvest all of them and implement them into this wonderful anime?

What were some difficulties with directing a show that properly conveys the intention behind the script, and how does it differ with different genres?

Were there certain scenes where in your mind you already envisioned how you wanted them to be done just from reading the screenplay and then have someone tell you to alter them? If so was there anything you weren't completely satisfied with, from a personal standpoint, and wish you could have done differently after the two season of Nyarko-san?

SailorBee, thank you!! I loooovvvee Nyarko-San & would really love to hear from the director!

Question: How do you maintain the difficult balance between working on a creative piece of media like anime and trying to make it commercially viable? Have you found any common ways to make both the creative and business side of producing anime come together?
