Soo the Crunchyroll stream looks as to that it is still coming through at 480p and i read that it was supposed to be updated in 2012 to 720p and or 1080p. Has this been done and will this be done?? I don't even want to use this app on my Samsung smart tv because it looks pretty terrible to be honest. Comes through just beautifully on my xbox 360.

Samsung TV app has been 480p since launch if I'm not mistaken. We tested our HD feeds prior to launching but there were problems. I'd recommend sticking with the Xbox 360 app for now.

Have you tried a HDMI cable? I use it and I get 1080p. My screen is sharp and clear.

Davidvin2387 is referring to an app built into the TV itself, so an HDMI cable would have no effect on that since the video is not originating from any source external to the TV.

Oh. I use the Samsung BluRay player app. Sorry.
