Yes, I know. I just watched the anime 3 years after it premiered, but seriously I was hooked on the anime. Until, the last episodes of season 3. I can't believe that Keima got the short end of the stick. He saved the girls and the world, and had to reject Shihiro in order to save humanity. Only for him to struggle in moving on. There was no recognition for him only to be rejected in the end and be depressed and returning to the way he was before he was forced to work with the demon world to capturing loose spirits. It was kind of unfair for the epilogue of the series to end like this... Why do some anime endings become very unfair? That was very disappointing in the end.

AFAIK the manga is still on going so there is a chance for further anime seasons of the show.

Elsie is the best girl, btw.

Manga is ongoing.

Also, you should take a look at the discussion thread for the anime and see what people were saying about the ending. Not to change your mind or anything, but it's just interesting. I know it helped me process through the ending.

The current manga arc has explained quite a few of the unanswered questions the series has raised... and it is also a very weird shift in the story. I would love to see it animated once it's finished, but I'm not sure if it is going to happen since the anime series skipped a lot of things to get to season 3 (even with the OVAs).

I assure you though, the end of the third season wasn't the end of Keima's story... not even close.

There will be a fourth season, don't worry. The show is very popular and it has not come close to showing all of the manga.

Funny how the latest chapter of the manga just came out a few hours ago. The anime's main story never ended yet.

Do you have any predictions of when the fourth season could air? (I really want more of this anime. :P)

Not for a bit. The first to second season took only one year, but this third season took two years to come out. I say we have to wait at least a year to hear about a fourth season.

That's a shame... but I'll have to endure the wait, as we all do! How far ahead is the manga from the anime currently?

I'm pretty sure the show is not popular by the most important measure, which is dvd/bd sales in Japan. It was well discussed in various threads how the season 2 sales were so mediocre, that a third season was very uncertain. We did get a third season, but I thought I remember seeing that the sales for season 3 were even worse than season 2. The place I check sales numbers is down right at the moment, so I can't actually confirm that season 3 were worse.

But in summary, I don't think a fourth season is certain. If anything, I would probably say it's unlikely if the sales numbers for season 3 are what I'm remembering them as. I would love a fourth season, but I'm not holding my breath for it.
