Really glad there's a thread like this.

This might be kind looked at as "Wow so he's just another Big 3 Fanboy". but I definitely saw maybe 30-40 anime series

Mine has to be Uzumaki Naruto. Naruto was the first anime I saw and it's still going strong. He simply had a crappy life and he worked hard for it to improve and for others to acknowledge him, while always keeping a smile on his face. He's really inspiring for me, and it helps when I am feeling somewhat down to just think of him and work hard and just keep going (with a smile :))

Naruto.

It may sound lame, but he really inspired me in days I felt lonely. And he taught me to never give up and value the friends you got.
Also it taught that no matter how bad a person may be, there is always reason to their behaviour.
Once again, it may seem lame, he is my role model and hero.

I completely agree, he's such an amazing character.

I still think nobody but my parents were my role model, but I did think of one character whose traits I liked. And that is Kuronuma 'Sadako' Sawako from Kimi Ni Todoke. She remained true to herself despite the challenges. She wanted to improve herself. She's honest to a fault and while having second guesses about herself; she was also brave.

Gendo Ikari. A family man who will stop at nothing to reunite himself and his son with his lost wife. A great father that pushes his son to be strong and not run away from his fears, hell he is even cool enough to give him a job at the company he owns.
