Currently, the only way to decide if "mature" shows turn up in the queues on some apps is down to a website-only setting. I think it would be useful if it could be set per-app.
Whether in the app itself or in the "My Devices" section on the website. And maybe even be able to set blacklists or whitelists per device?

Not just for the "because people can't find the web setting" reason, but because sometimes what you want to watch and where can be different.

Personally, I watch at home on the big TV. So I need my PS3 and AppleTV queues to be unfiltered. Everything I watch I need to be able to watch.

However, on my iPad this is not the case. I'm usually watching stuff there when I'm out for lunch, often sat in a public coffee shop. I don't necessarily need (or want) the more adult natured shows when i'm out and about.
Granted, I can just choose what to watch and what not to. But it would be nice if i could simply filter down to what I want to see in public without it affecting what I can watch in private.

I can also see a use, however, if a family shares a CR subscription. Mum and Dad might want to be able to find everything on their iPad, but restrict what the kids can see on their PS3.
Or maybe it's the iPad that they let the kids "watch cartoons" on, but they also want to be able to have an active choice in what their kids watch, without having to constantly shoulder-surf.

If it was an in-app setting, the kids could just swap the setting again. and that's apparently against the device maker's requirements.

If you don't want to watch anything with mature content, you'll either have to change the setting before going out to lunch, or be diligent when choosing what to watch.

Well, maybe not an in-app setting but a per-device setting in the My Devices section would be useful. That would stop it being an in-app toggle, and would still require changing through the website, but it would give some much-needed granularity to the filtering..
