There hasn't been any update since June on the crashes. More info on the progress would be nice.
Currently I'm crashing at least 5x a day due to various bugs. I've crashed at the video selection, crashed in the middle of playing a video, crashed while starting a video.

I just crashed when it went to load the next video in a series. Seriously. It's like the app will crash in any state. What kind of poop flinging monkeys worked on the app?

I can't get any videos to load.
The corner spinner would load. the screen would dim...couple seconds then it would go back to the list of videos.

This issue has been happening the last couple of days and I haven't been able to anything!

I have yet to see any kind of response on any of the PS3 posts from any CR staff. This isn't okay. Playing the "ignore the problem it will go away" game hasn't worked for 6 months, it's not going to work now. If you want people to pay for your service, make applications that are at least reasonably functional.

Yes this is getting really old. I work 90 to 100 hours a week. What time I do get to watch I fire up my PS3 and watch cr but the constant crashing is really starting to chap my $#$. When is someone going to take care of this issue. It sure doesn't take 6 months to fix bugs.

And they have both the premium payers (200k subscribers) and the extra funds ($100m investment) to fix all these issues yet they don't and they refuse to give us the paying members any updates on the issues.

It isn't as if that investment is sitting in CR's bank account. TCG bought out Venrock's investment in CR, which means Venrock got the money. About the only way CR itself would have seen any additional funds is if TCG was given an even larger stake in the company than Venrock (which in a privately held company would normally require the consent of other shareholders such as TV Tokyo).

Regardless of the investment situation, there's clearly a memory leak in the PS3 app since the longer I play files the greater chance of a crash. The fact that there have been no updates makes me think they aren't making any changes or even paying attention to what's going on. I have a PC I could play CR from on my TV, but the website fails to stay in full screen which is obnoxious. And I'm not playing Microshaft for Xbox live gold when I already pay for the CR service. So CR needs to do something on their end to make anime viewable without so many interruptions.

Quite frankly we should stop complaining here at crunchyroll. No one who matters is listening to our problems. We should complain to Sony for allowing an inferior product to be used until it gets fixed. Then also consider complaining to the Anime License holder's that Crunchyroll is using. Because if they won't listen to us when we pay month after month. Sony will listen when we refuse to use the service on their equipment because it is programmed in such a way that it causes the system to crash. Most likely on purpose in my own opinion.
