Cursing is a gift...so use it wisely. I do think its being used less wisely now, adding curse words to the end, beginning or middle of every 2nd sentence. I would say...curse only if you have to. If you're really angry, otherwise it may just be pointless. Use le cursing carfully~~~

Guilty of cursing and sometimes too excessively. I often catch myself so I stop when I notice it. Really hate cursing in public, but I'm usually complaining to my friends or something in public which is a bad thing to do I know but can't help it sometimes =/

I think children/preteens curse too much nowadays. I dont mind when adults curse because theyre aware of what theyre saying and it sounds more natural, but when my 14 year old brother curses his head off at our mother, thats too much cursing. I didnt swear in front of my parents until I was 17, and I wish my siblings had that level of verbal restraint.

It could be two causes:
1. I flame because I'm bored.
2. I flame because I'm actually depressed and down.

Of course I hate it but I rather stay silent and ignore it than giving them attention. Best thing to do I guess.

I swear, the last time I've seen someone try to put a curse on another was a LONG time ago.
I suppose the internet has made people less superstitious, and more likely to take things too literally..

Yes. But only use it when you're really angry or frustrated. I don't use it all that much around family but I do use it around friends cause they're used to it.

A word is just a word. The only reason people have problems with them is because we were taught that it was bad.
Innately, it's just a pattern of breath. Perceive it to be no harm and there won't be any.

Ok situation: If I came up to you and said, "Hey, KrisEkko, your moms a little bitch!" (Sorry, not meaning that at all just an example.) Then you wouldn't fill any sort of anger towards me? Yeah, of course society has put a meaning behind that word hence why it is bad, but curse words are still considered universally 'crude' and the word 'bitch' is still offensive. Even if it is a 'breath of air'.

It seems like people curse a lot these days, whether it's over the Internet, or during a conversation in-person. Do you think that people these days curse too much? Discuss.

I believe so. If people want to curse, fine. But to me when someone curses nonstop I feel like it shows no class. I mean cursing if okay and can be funny at times, but if drop the 'eff' bomb every other word I don't find it funny.

Your aggression would bother me. I don't care if you came to me and said "I disagree with everything your mother says. She's too ignorant for her own good." It would only be offensive if you were intending on insulting. The intention of your action is really the only way to judge its morality. I call my friends fuckwits just because. It's just our way of communicating with each other. I actually think that because of that, it's easier for us to deal with criticisms.

Probably, but it's not so much the swearing that annoys me, as it is that really annoying bleep sound they use to censor it on TV.

Personally I like curse words.
They're colorful and fun, and can say a lot about a person. I don't see excessive use of it as any different from an accent anymore. Some people use it, some people don't, some people don't know how to use it.

Curses are cheap though. They're kind of meaningless insults. Especially when you see teenagers and children using them so often, then curses are sort of lowered down to an immature level, words only a kid would use to lash out at someone. You can call someone a whore, but if they're not really a whore, then it's...sort of ineffective.
If you really want to sound angry and terrifying, up your vocabulary, speak with a barely controlled voice, and make solid, irrefutable points. You just can't find anything to say back. Add some spit for emphasis.
