So, to start off, I'm fairly new to the site and it's one of the best anime hosting sites I started using. Recently, I have decided to get more into manga (I'm an anime person, though if said anime interests me enough, I'll read the manga as well). I was really happy to find out the site had received a manga section, I really dislike illegally downloading manga or using fishy websites. But, I was really disappointed. I feel needing to be premium to read old pages to be a huge setback for someone that wants to get into a manga that started a while ago. Needing to start right as the first chapter/page comes out if you want to read it free is kind of ridiculous. I understand the delay for free users when it comes to new episodes of an anime since well...it's new and premium get early access. But, the manga situation really confuses me, it's essentially the opposite. Free users get to view new chapters and such but not old ones. So, I just don't grasp the point in that decision. I feel they should make it so that old archives are available to free users, whereas newer ones will have a delay just like how anime works.

I'm sorry if this topic was brought up before or whatever, just a situation that kinda bugs me. However, I do plan on getting a premium account, though the way my pre-paid card is, I may have to have it canceled every so often.

Thanks for taking your time to read my thread

I see what you mean about the manga, on how free users only get the lastest chapter, but I think it entices people to get premium if they can't see the previous chapters, if they just started to read the manga.
Also, if you live in the U.S, you really don't want to use a pre-paid card. If you live by a coin star and if that coinstar accepts cash, get Rixty points, and use those for Crunchyroll. I had to to that a while back since I'm not really old enough to get a credit card and such. Also, the Rixty way to pay, you can set it so it doesn't renew, so you don't have to come back and cancel the membership last minute.

Ah, thanks. I really hate pre-paid cards, they're such a pain. That's why I like to buy cards dedicated to that service now; ie. Steam cards
