If I ever get hit, then it's clobbering time. That "turn the other cheek" crap might work for some, but not me. Fortunately, I haven't been in a fight since the 4th grade....oh, and one drunken brawl when I was in the Navy. But we laughed and shook hands after that one. I don't consider that a fight since no hate was involved.

Yes it's okay to defend yourself if you are attacked. I was even taught it's okay to attack preemptively if I know a fight can't be avoided. Not that that ever happened. 100% of the fights I've been in were my fault.

But...how do you fight a disease?

Ask the fighter that can't fight.

I like your comment. The bonus question is a bit tricky since "killing someone is murder no matter what". Aside from that, I'm more of a passive person and try to steer clear from problems like that. Sometimes you'll have to put your fists up even when you don't want to.

ˈmərdər/
noun
noun: murder; plural noun: murders

1.
the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.
"the stabbing murder of an off-Broadway producer"
synonyms: killing, homicide, assassination, liquidation, extermination, execution, slaughter, butchery, massacre; More

I am the quietest and calmest girl you will ever meet in your life (if we ever meet someday). I always mind my own business and if someone disagrees with me, I'm ok with it. I don't like to argue and I defend myself by talking to the person calmly and straight to the eye with no insults or yelling. BUT if you (general you) start yelling at me or give the first punch, I will be all over you like a wild Lion...I act impulsively with no control of myself.

I'm not proud to admit that part of myself, I never fought with anyone before so I was not aware of what I was/am capable of until one day, when I was in high school and I used to work at a fast food restaurant. I don't believe the "the client is always right" crap and this white trash woman started yelling at me just because I told her that we didn't have a certain item she wanted, after a few insults and more yelling, she tried to hit me and I lost it. I threw myself at her and hit her with all my strength, she was lucky that I was at the other side of the counter or I would have fully thrown myself at her . I wasn't thinking about my actions, I didn't care that there were people witnessing that shameful event, all I could see was this stupid woman and I wanted to tear her apart. people grabbed her because she was mad and the manager came to calm me down.

That was my first fight and the second (and last one, for now) happened last year with my younger brother...we ended up with a broken table (my fault....as mad as he was, he never tried to hit me and I didn't want to hit him either so I took it out on the table)

I guess is ok to defend yourself...when you can control your actions and avoid people like the first fight I had...but people like me have no control over those actions and we could regret it later on (however, I didn't regret hitting that old woman, but I immensely regretted that fight with my brother).

I'm afraid I could kill someone if i get very mad and the person keeps nagging me...but killing or murdering someone over a stupid fight (or for whatever reason) is not right but if this person wanted to kill me, it's better to hit them hard on the head/nuts and call the police and if the situation doesn't allow it...kill them... it was self-defense, after all.

I agree with you on the "customer is always right" thing as well. There are complete jerks out there willing to have you lash out on them just so you can get fired if you fight back. You need to have the patience of a saint when dealing with customers like that. It's good you didn't beat the crap out of her because idiots like her are not worth it.

i just went to church today and the pastor talked about something like this, heres a brief overview...
if someone hits you and the adult/authority doesn't see it but when u hit them back you are the one getting caught. the smart thing to do is WALK AWAY! just leave the loser if you keep going at it you will just go in circles! move on with life it is best let god handle your problems...

nah man, violence is never the answer. Don't sink to the level of the person who hurt you, we're humans and have more self control than that. Use that big brain for something constructive, it's not there for nothing.
