I am going to end up looking like a smart aleck, so forgive me, but I think slice of life and sci-fi should be added to the genres. I say sci-fi due to the concepts of time travel and parallel worlds used in this series and slice of life due to the everyday life elements. I just thought I could help with suggestions and such, so if I am being a smart aleck, then I apologize! Take care, brotha'!

Done.

Sweetness! New chapter is out; check it!

Good chapter! Great to see Naho being bold.

That ending... Valentine's Day, sounds very promising... However,

I am so conflicted about this manga. I don't want him to die but I don't want Suwa's future to change regarding having a family. He's so nice himself. I can't imagine how this is all going to end, I really hope we get an ending and not a cliffhanger if she doesn't want to continue writing. I can't help but flash back to Nana and that horrible way it left off.

I totally understand. I don't want Kakeru to die but all of their futures will change. I really liked that she ended up with Suwa, it's so cute he finally "gets the girl". Just feel like something bad is going to happen and at the rate they're going, I don't think they'll save Kakeru. I really hope it ends well. : /

Saw the news. That's sad because I always looked forward to reading this every month... I don't read too many Shoujo's, so to see this one go is disappointing..

Well, reading Orange, very technically, is not reading a Shoujo manga. At least not after the 10th chapter when the publication of the manga switched from a shoujo magazine to a seinen magazine.

I think we could all tell that the end was near, given that the story has a built in deadline (kind of like Half & Half by Kouji Seo... you just can't go beyond a certain point... or the story is essentially complete once you get there, at least...)

Maybe she will start putting out chapters of Re-Collection once Orange is done?

I would still call it a Shoujo. Also, the author could make a sequel or after story of the series. I would like that!

My spine is tingling and there are tears welling in my eyes... I must have just read the new chapter of Orange!

What a great chapter! Go! Change the future! Make this a world where everyone can be happy! (Even Suwa, who I'm betting is going to become a soccer star in this new world, since he won't be concentrating on healing Naho's wounds...)

Chapter 22

I believe this marks the end of the series, I think. I really enjoyed this series because the mangaka added a Sci-fi element by using time travel and it was carefully and well executed, whereas some authors use time travel too much and end up putting themselves in a corner! Shoujo Manga, or at least the ones I have read, usually implements a Drama or Supernatural element in it's series, and there is still drama in this series, but it's good to see that a Sci-fi element can work well in a Shoujo Manga, which I enjoyed very much! As for the art, I feel it's interesting because it doesn't look like your standard Shoujo art style, rather, it looks like an art style a Seinen Manga would use, which I find different, yet interesting at the same time. Overall, I would recommend this series for anyone who is a lover of Shoujo Manga, time travel, and friendship!
