Problem with recently posted episodes

Similar to the issue I had a while back watching previews, I am *sometimes* having trouble watching episodes that have been recently posted. For example, when trying to watch Sakura Trick ep 3 (it was posted within the last 10 minutes, I think) I get the message that the video can't be played because it my be unavailable in my region or flagged as mature. I'm pretty sure it's neither, and I have my settings to allow mature video, anyway.

This has happened with a couple other shows recently. I can't seem to watch anything shortly after it's posted. If I come back to it a while later, then it works fine. It's great that it works later, but it's pretty frustrating going to load something up and being told that I can't.

Edit: 7 minutes later I can start the episode, but it plays with quality that makes me long for a grainy black and white TV from the 50s, and stops about 15 seconds in.

Edit2: 30 minutes later it plays just fine.

The delay is likely because the Panasonic encode is not yet available. As you saw, it's came up in under half an hour, so you'll see it with a bit of patience.

Yeah, I generally just watch them via PC instead, or else wait a little bit. This is more of a "letting them know there is an issue" post than anything else.

But, it would be nice if the shows were available at the advertised times. Also, this is the first season I've had this issue (previews excluded)- in previous seasons, I never had any difficulty watching the shows on Viera as soon as they were supposed to be available.

Howdy!

Apologies for the delay in response.

Can you tell me how soon after going live you watch the shows? Are these episodes available now?
It can take 1-3 hours after a show is posted to the site for it to become available on our other supported devices.

Best,
-B

If I remember correctly, it wasn't available until ~1-2AM EDT

We posted it at 19:15 Pacific. So that's roughly 10:15 PM Eastern. So it looks like it was in that roughly 3 hours block.

This is something we're aware of and working on, and getting better at. used to be 8+ hours before content synced up to the web.
