Hello Sparkles*, I don't usually come to Crunchyroll(not much of an anime guy, more of a manga person) thus I never needed to create an account here. But to recommend something to you or any of the others that you might like, I'd figured why not.

Manga

One-Punch Man(Yūsuke Murata's redrawn version; great comedy, fun characters, fantastic art. Most series give you a main character that starts out weak and works their way to becoming stronger and stronger with every fight and struggle, yeah, that's not Saitama. OP man is about an average looking hero... err, person, Saitama taking on the role of hero only as a hobby. He's already at top tier and he's never met an opponent that can give him the thrill of an all out fight. In fact he's never met an enemy that survived his one punch blow. It's pretty much a parody of every superhero series out there.)

Akame ga Kill!(Interesting story, it's a bit mature if you're not okay with blood, gore, sexual themes. Beware, author loves to kill off characters that you've grown attach to. So, recent developments has made me come back and edit this to EMPHASIS my warning, if you REALLY can't take character deaths then you might want to bring along lots of tissues if you haven't started reading it yet. Happiness, what's that? I only see sadness.)

Tokyo Ghoul(Another gory series. I don't know, I just love the concept about a normal guy being turn into a ghoul and viewing both the human and ghoul worlds in a different light, similar on some aspects yet so different on others.)

Noragami(Sure you can just watch the anime, but I'd say you should read the manga too. It's a bit dark in a sense it talks about life and death in an interesting way. The characters are great and it doesn't take itself too serious.)

Shokugeki no Soma(Who knew cooking could be so cool and orgasmic? If you don't mind some fanservice here and there then you might like this.)

Lasboss x Hero(A meta series about a mangaka and his failing manga and how he decides to end it... Until he get's sucked into his own manga, how will he get out? Will he be able to return to the real world? Very funny, gives you a little insight on why some authors do what they do in manga.)

Bullet Armors(Feels like a breath of fresh air. The series feels like a classic shounen style manga, it's really good but don't expect to be anything new or ground breaking.)

Ao no Exorcist(Highly recommend reading the manga, the anime adaptation went with an OG ending but the manga is still ongoing. The son of Satan learns about his identity and decides to become an exorcist to fight against Satan.)

D-Frags!(Comical school life series, Kenji Kazama is the main character of the series, thinks of himself of some what of a delinquent a tough guy, until he meets the people of the Games Creation Club and gets force into joining their club. Now he has to deal with all the chaotic things that happen with the club and the members that drag him around into these situations.)

Btooom!(Can't believe I forgot to mention this one, I was just re-reading it a few day's ago. Ryōta is a 22 year old guy that has no motivation in life and blames everything else on everyone on how his life is now. He doesn't get along with his step dad and he gets angry at his mother from time to time. The only thing he has going for him is the title of being one of the top players in a video game called Btooom! and then one day he wakes up on an island and slowly begins to realize that he's playing a real life version of the game. Now he has to survive and figure out how to get off the island and why he was sent to there in the first place.)

Light Novel(s)(Do you guys like Light Novels?)

No Game No Life(A genius little sister, Shiro, and genius older brother, Sora, both shut-ins and both extremely good at any game. Things get crazy when they get sent to a world where everything is decided by games, even the title of god. Should be getting an anime soon as well.)

My youth romantic comedy is wrong as I expected(About a couple of loners, Hachiman Hikigaya and Yukino Yukinoshita, and their school's Service club. They offer advice to the other students that come searching for help. Both characters seem to have twisted personalities and way of viewing life. This one hits home for me because it kind of reminds me of how I used to be in high school. This series also has an anime.)

*Now that I'm writing them down, I realize that a lot of my favorite series have/or are getting anime adaptations... I might go back and watch some of them or wait until they're out.

Just want to start off by saying I'm a fan of Area 11. That being said, since you guys are musicians I think it'd be pretty cool if you'd watch and discuss a series dealing with music such as Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad, Nana, Kids on the Slope, and even K-On! to an extent.

Valentine's Day is coming up! This means a giant photo collection* of food offerings to every conceivable waifu under the sun is in the works.

Definitely worth checking out in a couple weeks just to see how disgusting everyone's taste is in 2D relationships is compared to mine (you'll recognize mine because my taste is impeccable and unlike those pigdog harlots, my waifu is pure).

Aside from the countless classics you need to burn through for cred, enjoy some more recent shows that don't get the same zealous fanwank as, say KLK or SNK or whatever, check out Outbreak Company from last season (jokes and references likely relevant to your interests) and World Conquest: Zvezda Plot (because it is good).

You could also watch a thing about this guy and despair that YOU will never live the dream he wakes up to every day.

I really agree about this, we should talk about a music-related anime. I've been meaning to discuss Beck for a while, that's an excellent idea
