I play the game. It is currently my favorite game for Play Station 3 (PS3). I love playing the game.

It is an awesome game. It has a great plot and character-development. I like the animated cut scenes, which were rare. But the skits were much more common and pretty enjoyable, too.

I like how it isn't a turn-based RPG, like Final Fantasy or Pokemon. It is a real-time combat system. I like how the characters level up, gain new abilities, and can wear different out-fits.

It has great graphics. The original Tales of Graces was a Wii game, which was ported over to the PS3. When it was ported over to the PS3, its graphics were improved. It use to be 480 resolution on the Wii, but the PS3 version has hi-definition graphics with 1080 resolution.

I haven't beaten the game yet. I will beat the game, since I now have the time. I'm just starting the game out. I will eventually beat the game over the next couple of months. I think I will enjoy the game.

So does anyone else here play this game? And what were your impressions of it?

I love this game, but I really hated the beginning when you play as children. I hate when jrpgs are full of little kids but once you get past that it's really good!

I have the game but I haven't played it ( my brother was the one who played through Graces f )

I have played two of the other more recent Tales of games and loved them: Vesperia and Xillia.

Tales of Vesperia is currently $5 on the Xbox LIVE storefront. I bought my copy maybe 3 years ago and it's one of my most treasured games. Sadly, the definitive version of Tales of Vesperia (on PS3) is only available in Japan.

Tales of Xillia is $39.99 on the Playstation Store currently and can probably be found for less elsewhere.

I personally can't wait for the HD release of Tales of Symphonia and then the direct sequel to Xillia.

In terms of gameplay, Graces f is my favorite. I love playing on Chaos mode and the Gentlemen Boss fight.

I don't see what there is to hate about that.

Definitely a great game. If you liked this game, I would recommend Tales of Xillia! That game is even better! And it's on the PS3!

It's just a personal preference. I'd rather have my characters as adults, instead of chibi-fied kids lol.

I was in the same boat with you.. I really did not care for the opening of the game when you were kids. Don't know why it bugged me so much, but once you muscle through it, i agree it got A LOT better!

Normally i don't mind playing as kids/chibi in games, but for some reason i just could not get into graces when you were kids..

I watched my brother play a bit of this game while in the middle of Tales of Xillia, myself.

Seemed alright.

However, I didn't like the near 'Chibi' style of the game...

Just a personal complaint I suppose.

I played this last year, After putting it off for several months and luckily got this game for a good deal.

I posted a somewhat review & comments on a blog I wrote last year. I dunno if there are spoilers, but please feel free to check it out!

Not bad, I guess.

I still wanna play Tales of the Abyss.

Got it for 3DS, but haven't been around to play it, since I got other new games.

I only wish my flat-screen TV and PS3 where located in my bedroom instead of the living room, because if it was, I would be able to play Tales of Graces on my PS3 more!

Buy a small TV and play your games there, that's exactly what I did, because my family and I were always competing who needs to use the TV first. And besides, I can't always wait for them to sleep so I can just play games. But, well, you're probably going to sacrifice visual for the sake of playing.

@Animegirlzvstheworld: Hm, I haven't played Abyss, but I have it on PS2... ^_^;; I was planning to play Abyss after I finished Legendia, unfortunately, I got lazy finishing the character arc in Legendia.
