Oh also, I learned that this is the one community in the entire internet where you can come into a discussion with an extremely contrary (EXTREMELY) opinion and not get blown to hell by the fans inside. The CR community is shockingly kind to haters :D

it's also well moderated, so these kinds of things don't happen very often. as long as people keep it civil, then the riot squad has no need to be unleashed.. but when they're needed, they're there. that's one reason I love this forum.

Haters gonna hate, basically.

Especially those who have too much time on their hands and feel the need to express their daily dose of hate on the popular shows (Big 3, SAO, AOT...) because their favorite moeblob show isn't getting more than 12 episodes. Wow, you're like so cool.

Not to be rude, but I've learned nothing.

I mean, this isn't really an education forum, anyway. It's a bunch of people throwing out random opinions about different anime. I could see if you were a newbie to anime how this forum would be educational in some regards. You might learn what some terms mean like "Shonen", "Moe" or "Mangaka", etc..., or some classics you should check out. But, for an old dog like me, I'm not going to get anything out of this place as far as learning goes.

That being said, I just enjoy sharing opinions on anime with each other here.

ooo! Let's start an education forum!

Nothing. If I've learned anything from any anime communities, it was before I came here. And most of the threads here are listing threads so there's not much discussion for me to read, just people talking about which anime are their favorites, etc.

I'm more of an ass/penis man myself but thanks for assuming I fall under your sexist standards!

I've learned that if the forums is really really slow, I can just stalk the "Recommending Anime" thread for excuses for long ranting posts about anime I think others should watch.

I don't know if I learned anything but I sure have noticed something. [Insert show here] anticipation/discussion topics seem like a race to make the first thread. >_>

I understand making one at least a month before it airs but damn it 3+ months is ridiculous.

I'm gonna go all philosophical on this one, ther'es always something for you to learn, you might just not know it yet.

And learning is a lot more than just 'God help me, I know know what Yandere means'.
