Anybody here on Crunchyroll play airsoft? Recently got into the sport and had a blast in our first game.
Best part is that I could do my cardio without being bored out of my mind in a tread mill.

I love airsoft to death. Only problem is we don't really have any good arenas around here to play in, and people around here are kinda... Trigger happy when it comes to seeing things like that. Wish someone would create one around here, but if they don't then I might look into making one...

I once advocated for using Airsoft as a training tool. Alas, the higher ups in the community saw it as more of a toy, and argued that it wasn't "realistic" enough. Besides, they had already invested into the sim rounds. Personally I think that using chalk BBs achieves almost the same effect as a sim round at a fraction of the cost. At the very least it could be useful during Robin Sage.

I did before. I should go back it was so fun. Me and my cousins and friends would set up the gym in the church (my cousin's) and put obstacles and mazes and stuff... It was fun and had a blast. I also tried playing in a professional area near my place. That was fun. It's like your playing a shooting game. But I totally suck since there's waaay too many pro's here and I just joined for fun. $20 for a game ain't bad too...

Paintball>Airsoft. I have tried both, and I enjoy paintball more. Airsoft seems to be pretty tactical and that just isn't for me. Paintball with the local group was way more fast paced and fun, especially when the speedball course was set up. I never should have sold my kit. Someday I'll get back into it, maybe. It is really fun, but I was spending $200 a weekend on target paint. I could almost cover a weekend of MX or MTB for that price, including fuel for my truck. Paintball is an absolute riot, but MX and MTB is more fun, most of the time. I will say this though, if you are enjoying airsoft, keep at it. I didn't like it as much as paintball, but I still had a blast doing it. Plus, it is less expensive. That is definitely a plus.

Higher ups in community? Are they avid shooters or from law enforcement?

Nowadays airsoft guns are getting more sophisticated with recoils and ejecting shells, so their perception is outdated.

I'm a big fan of military simulation or MILSIM for short. Never a fan of rifle magazine that carries 500 round.

I started when i was 12 and we went almost every weekend until 18-19 and over the years me and all my friends built up a huge 10 acre course in the woods next to my old place:) Those where some of the most memorable times of my life and i would not trade the memories for anything. Im 21 now and with everyone having full tome jobs and moving to go to collage were lucky if we get onne big battle in a year but every time we do it feels just like the good old days:)

My load out

KWA Full metal C02 gas blow back SCAR, back up green gas mouser rifle with a holo sight.
