I tried to check out the manga section and all i get is a grey page with nothing on it. So I guessing the section for now is broken. Because all i see when checking anything in the manga section is gray pages with nothing on them.

It works for me and apparently also for most people.

Keep in mind if you are viewing in the web browser Flash is apparently used for the viewer.

If you continue to have this issue, you may want to report it in the Manga support section of the Help! area of the forum. At least one other user is reporting the same or similar issue:

When reporting a problem, you should make note of whether you are viewing in a web browser (and if so, which one and under what OS), and any other possible pertinent information.

This time we have three titles, all from Shounen Gahousha, and will be available to Crunchyroll Members worldwide except Algeria, Lebanon, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Morocco, Poland, and Switzerland. Updates will be on the 30th of every month in accordance with their Japanese publishing dates, and catalog will be added at a later date. Simulpub chapters will be available this afternoon at 4pm Pacific Time.

What a pity, but are you certain Belgium is excluded? I can see them just fine...

I have a feeling I had at least a small hand in CR picking up Fortress of the Apocalypse, Inside Mari, Soredemo, and Spirit Circle when I passed along my list of recommendations. Already bought All-Access for the manga section, and I will be continuing my subscription thanks to these excellent licensing picks! Soredemo and Spirit Circle are exceptionally good series, Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer was great but flawed, and Spirit Circle shows that Mizukami has drastically improved his character and storytelling abilities. Soredemo is Soredemo, it's genuinely hilarious whereas most anime is cliche and stupid when trying to be funny, it's basically a more mature Yotsuba.

If they pick up:

I Am A Hero
Boys on the Run
Ressentiment
Qualia the Purple
Masturbation Master Kurosawa
The Town Where Only I Am Missing
Bonnouji
Ai-Ren
Hinamatsuri
Suicide Island
Onepunch-Man
Akumetsu
Koe No Kotachi
Teppu
Cheese in the Trap
Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer
Ketchup Ninja

then they'll have been taking a gander at my list I think, since the four listed in the first sentence were also on it.

All of the series I just listed are absolutely worth reading, by the way. It would be crazy for them not to pick up I Am A Hero, Suicide Island, Teppu, Onepunch-Man, Qualia the Purple, and Koe No Kotachi at the very least, assuming the licensing fees are remotely sane, which can be a crap shoot when dealing with Japanese companies.

This is an excellent point. A madlib of:

"Great News Guys! We are adding {Manga you have been waiting for} to our Manga Section, starting with the simulpub of chapter 42, available worldwide except {five countries that would dearly love not to be in this list}. In the future, we will be getting the catalog chapters starting with Chapter 1, but we cannot guarantee when each catalog chapter will be handed over to us, so we will publish the catalog chapters as they arrive."

(in the future at this rate) and start filling in the gap?

Wait ... you want Crunchyroll to have fewer titles and slower growth, which means that Japanese publishers will be less interested in listening to what Crunchyroll says, as a way to get back catalog issues added faster?

Do you also hit the brakes when you want a car to go faster? And hit rewind when you want a show to play faster?

Are you sure that you are being detected as accessing the site from Belgium? There's a flag next to the "language" selection that should show how you are being detected. If its detecting you as being from Belgium, its likely a mix-up in setting the database ... if they do manga announcements like anime announcements, the regions are copy and paste from that section of the contract.

I'm detected as an Belgian, so I guess it's a mix-up at their end. Unless hopefully the announcement is wrong...

One Punch Man is already being simultaneously published by Viz through their English edition of Weekly Shonen Jump (though the series itself is monthly, I believe?), just in case you weren't aware. It wouldn't make sense for CR to duplicate their efforts.

Seven Seas will be publishing Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer starting this fall, in print omnibus volumes. They do ebooks for several of their series, so that may be a possibility in the future too if that is your preference. I'm also doubtful that CR will go back to release a series that's been finished in Japan for years, judging by their emphasis on simultaneous releases (and the already large backlog they eventually need to fill in).

Out of the 25 manga series available in CR, 14 don't have the first chapter available. It's normal that some people get frustrated by the announce of new titles while they still waiting for the 1st chapters for months.

I agree completely with you on managing people's expectations when the wait to read the series fully may get frustrating for plenty, but to be fair even though we're not sure how soon the catalog chapters will be added at least we actually do get informed they're not currently available everytime they announce a new title since the start of CrunchyManga (though perhaps this time around they forgot to mention it by mistake since the first forum post was edited idk).

We need more mizukami works licensed, with this and Spirit Circle brought over I'm looking forward to someone grabbing Sengoku Youko as well!

Needless to say I can't wait to have a set release for spirit circle and some of these other titles look interesting too!

I agree with what you said. I am actually avoiding manga that don't start with Chapter 1 because I want to read the whole story, not just a part of it. It's like picking up your favorite Hardy Boys mystery and starting in the middle. You just don't know what story has happened before and this makes it harder to follow (at least initially).

I have no interest in any of the recent titles (I only read weekly manga), but I'm temporarily reading all the ones that don't start at chapter 1 to show support for this system. Starting at later chapters may not look pretty, but it definitely is the best option for everyone.
