Yay! The Arpeggio manga is here! Can't wait till I have time to start reading it!

Also with all these Manga's coming to the service, Crunchyroll should really be looking into some sort of Bookmarking/WatchList feature so that you can put a chapter down/pick it up/be notified when a new release comes out. It would make the service all that much better.

One Punch Man is already being simultaneously published by Viz through their English edition of Weekly Shonen Jump (though the series itself is monthly, I believe?), just in case you weren't aware. It wouldn't make sense for CR to duplicate their efforts.

Seven Seas will be publishing Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer starting this fall, in print omnibus volumes. They do ebooks for several of their series, so that may be a possibility in the future too if that is your preference. I'm also doubtful that CR will go back to release a series that's been finished in Japan for years, judging by their emphasis on simultaneous releases (and the already large backlog they eventually need to fill in).

Yeah, that was just the list I gave to a person who was able to hand it off to CR directly, since he knows I have awesome taste in series, the list was sent before the Biscuit Hammer announcement. And I had no idea the OPM was licensed, huh. Weird. It's got such an odd, erratic schedule and completely random amount of panels it seems, I wasn't sure WHAT to think of it. Well, except that it rules, of course.

I have no interest in any of the recent titles (I only read weekly manga), but I'm temporarily reading all the ones that don't start at chapter 1 to show support for this system. Starting at later chapters may not look pretty, but it definitely is the best option for everyone.

Wow, talk about isolating yourself from a huge amount of extremely good series for an incredibly dumb reason! And then reading the newest chapters rather than starting from the beginning, what? They're probably not going to really rate this stuff until they've filled in the back catalogs anyways, so I highly doubt it matters if you read the latest chapters to "rate them up". Context for a lot of stuff will likely be ruined or spoiled, too, so I really don't see the point in what you're doing!

I hardly see how it is a dumb reason. I've read enough monthly stuff to realize that the gap in-between releases is enough to make my lose interest in the series, no matter how good it is. It's not an iron rule as I do keep up with a couple, but even then I don't look forward to them as much as weekly manga (even the ones that are objectively worse).

Rather than reading I'm mostly just flicking through them. Reading stuff out of order is actually quite an interesting experience and it doesn't really spoil that much.

I think you misinterpreted my post - I'm not doing it to show support for the manga, I'm doing it to show support for adding the latest chapters before the early volumes are up. With all the people complaining CR would definitely be looking at the view counts to see whether the method is working.

Nice explanation but the problem is managing people's expectations. You keep posting messages saying "Hey guys we got 3 new series in the manga section!". People get excited and... then they realize that none of the series have the chapter 1 available. To avoid having the same complaints every single time you announced a new manga let people know in the first post that the first chapter is not going to be available any time soon. This way you will avoid complaints from people who got excited by the idea of reading Arpeggio of Blue Steel only to find out that they just have chapter 53 available.
Out of the 25 manga series available in CR, 14 don't have the first chapter available. It's normal that some people get frustrated by the announce of new titles while they still waiting for the 1st chapters for months.

Exactly, Why not announce a new anime title and then only have the last 6 episodes?
Really half stepping on the manga thing here, Crunchyroll. I highly recommend you stop this practice, It is very similar to going to a strip club, all we are getting is pointless frustration.
