These are anime that I am looking into watching but I don't know how bad they are in content. I don't want anything TOO fanservicey and Adult content. I can handle a little.

-- Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!
-- Seitokai no Ichizon: The Student council's discretion
-- Ebiten

Are these shows more mature than say Infinite Stratos or Haruhi Suzumiya?

http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-7173/recommend-me-an-anime-read-first-post ~ Use this. Also, watch them and decide for yourself if they're good for you or not. That's really the only way to know if you'll actually like them or not.

Until you try them, or, research them more. And, just to answer the question, I'd say they're safe, but then again I've seen stuff in anime that makes you gag and potentially never want to eat again, so...

may have been better for your topic, but...I shall still answer as I can!

I don't know the second two shows on your list, but Nyaruko is one of the most immature anime I have ever watched. There is quite a lot of fanservice and also some what I think you would call "adult content."

That being said, I generally dislike fanservice/adult content, but I LOVE Nyaruko-San. It's crazy, sometimes lame, often hilarious and really energetic. For me, that made up for things, but I don't know how your tolerance level for fanservice is affected by other factors.

Nyarko while a bit fanservicey is mostly about the comedy and no where near as bad as say Maken-ki or High School DxD.

Seitokai... if I remember correctly is no fanservice at all, but it has been awhile. Mostly it is about the one guy on the student council of girls and wanting his Harem.

Ebiten, again a little fanservice but nothing insanely bad compared to others. Another one that focuses on comedy more than anything else.

As said before though, you will have to watch them/research them more on your own to determine if they are too much or not. Nyarko for example has fanservice but I don't notice it really. Meanwhile someone else said there was a lot while I was just here scratching my head saying "Really was there that much?"

I was thinking of stuff like Kuko getting *ahem* molested? by her sister in front of everyone and Shata-kun having various...experiences...

Oh it's not like I am denying the fanservice in Nyarko, it's just been... dulled... by powerhouses in the fanservice world, like Highschool DxD, or Maken-ki, etc etc.

As for Seitokai no Ichizon: The Student council's discretion and Ebiten I really enjoyed both of them. Give them both a shot. As for being mature eh has some moments, but they are just fun.

No, they are not more mature than IS or Melancholy. But, they are funny. My particular favorite of the three would be Seitokai No Ichizon, followed by Nyarko-San. I've only seen two episodes of Ebiten thus far, but I enjoyed it. But, Ebiten and Seitokai are similar, the primary difference being that Seitokai No Inchizon stays mostly in one room and Ebiten moves around.

If you're looking for a more mature comedy with a school-like setting like Ebiten and Ichizon, I would recommend Seitokai Yakuindomo. That is HILARIOUS and very...um..."mature". And if you haven't seen them, yet, I would also recommend Haganai, Baka To Test and Seto No Hayamone. Seto is the second funniest anime of all time to me, behind only Gintama.

If you're just looking for mature comedy of any kind, I would recommend Detroit Metal City, Dai Mahou Touge and Yondemasu-Yo Azazel San

There's also Cromartie High School (personally, one of the funniest shows to me besides Seitokai Yakuindomo) and School Rumble (not really 'mature', per say, but it doesn't get its humor from how many times a girl's boobs bounce on screen).

A clip from each (that I mentioned):

It depends what you want in an anime. I haven't seen much of Ebiten but I'd argue the other two are much tamer than Haruhi groping Mikuru.

Seitokai no Ichizon is one of my favourite shows because it parodies the classic "useless guy has beautiful girls falling over him" harem setup.

"I'm the main character and this is my harem"
"Not you're not"
"You're the main character's best friend who exists only for jokes...."

Man, I had forgotten about CHS. It's been so long and I never finished it. I've got to go back and get that done.

IKR? I swear, that anime is so funny. The bathroom invasion in season 2 was a classic. And the ending of season 1, I died.
