I think Light Novels don't quite of have a market as compared to Manga & Anime, ofcourse me and you read them but still it's not that popular so I guess CR will have a hard time deciding on it, besides instead currently I think CR should focus on improving their Manga library!

this idea defiantly peaks my interest! i have watching so many anime shows i want to read light novels since light novels seem to come out before an anime does, as much as i look for physical copes and look online for fan translations its hard to find them for the most part i cant even find any LN that im searching for. so YES i would love for CR to consider this. i have thought about buying a manga membership but manga just doesn't grab me as much as LN do (even though i only have read a few of them but i love them)

If you're gonna get light novels Can you make sure it's added onto the mobile version. That's where I'd use it most.

It would be of interest to me. I like how there is usually a different flavor to each format, and it allows me to get enjoyment from both.

Not sure what the logistics would be to make it happen, but if they were able to secure a good selection I wouldn't mind upgrading my membership to get access.

Me too, I am defiantly into the idea of light novels. I would highly recommend the novels of Yoshiki Tanaka.

I would like to inform you guys that Yen Press has LN's translated going on Amazon.

Currently I am collecting in print format the SAO, Accel World, Log Horizon, and No Game No Life from Amazon (cuz I love Prime <3).

But its a good place to start for translated print.

Honestly, I feel like the more diversified CrunchyRoll gets, the more markets will be open to them. Someone said above that not many people read LNs here in the US or outside of Japan, but I'm not so sure that's a terrible thing. Think about it this way, if you've never had cake and you go into a store that you frequent and they say here - try this cake. You may like it or hate it, but for the people who like it, now this is the only place that they know of that sells cake.

It's the same concept of paying for Xbox Live on your Xbox to watch all of your streaming videos, to listen to music, to game, and to chat with friends. If CR can carve out a place on the internet where they can give users things they can't get easily get anywhere else at a reasonable price and in a convenient way - they're golden.

Well if they do add them, more power to those who'll read I guess.

But personally, I would much rather read the physical copy. I can't explain why, but it feels much more satisfying. Plus, it's better if I want to read before going to bed.
