EDIT: Not trying to argue with a 14 year old.

More on point, the only reason I don't want to see the Xbox One fail is because I like some competition between companies.

The Xbox One is an amazing gaming machine people aren't giving it enough credit. It deserves less hate than it has. The only issues I've run into are the ones from the games not the console itself. Plus that thing is quiet as hell compared to other consoles, without the Xbox icon light I couldn't tell if it was on or off.

I'm sure it's fine.

Bad idea. Competition and all that jazz.

Having not played the next (current, now, right?) gen systems, their predecessors led me to a simple, mostly unbiased conclusion; While I find multi-platform games (like every game made, damn near) preform better on the 360, the PS3 exclusives are of much higher quality as far as technical achievement. It's relative to the point that the 360s hardware, not unlike a PC, easier to program for, while the Cell Processor in the PS3 needs more time/resource to utilize it's design, leading to "butchered" ports. In smaller words, Skyrim plays/looks great on Xb, while on Ps3, it plays like utter shit. The Wii and Wii-U get the shaft as far as multi-plats, because I assume it's a pain in the ass to tack on motion control gadgetry, and 'dumb down' a game that's meant to run on much more powerful architectures via . But their 1st party stuff, like the PS3, is pretty well made. So if all games were available for all systems, they would never get the attention they need in order to run properly on a given system. It would also more than likely flood the market with shovel-ware with no regulation to quality what so ever.

It's proven science that 80% of everything is crap anyway, so I personally, wouldn't get too wound up in a debate.
