I don't think the anime was all that popular, so it probably won't come back.

Well when the final bleach arc is finished in the manga then they might animate it. But I think the Bleach anime started to degrade badly so it really is a long shot. It would be nice as the bleach final arc is pretty badass.

If there's enough demand to see the final manga arc animated it will get animated, but other than that I'd say another movie, spin-off series, or more filler episodes are a long shot.

Most likely when the manga is about finished. I believe it being literally 48 or 49% fillers was what killed it and the manga sales which were dropping. But companies like to keep the anime and the manga going at the same time since it gets them more money so it won't be till later but it won't be after it ends. I've heard the manga's sales have been rising with this new arc so that should bring more hope.

It will return. If inuyasha can get it's last arc animated with several years gap, bleach will do fine.

I suspect it'll either be a series with no filler, except for extending some fights or it will be 1 extra long movie or 2-3 average length movies.

With bleach's popularity I can say they will animate it, especially after they went to the trouble of redoing fma as fmab.

It's just a matter of when kubo finishes the manga, they could start animating it to coincide with the last chapter or start arc anime as last chapter printed.

Honestly, the Fullbringer Arc is so terrible, I couldn't care less if it did come back. I'm not sure if I'll ever even finish the final episodes of Bleach simply because of that arc. It's just horrible. I've been stuck on episode 354 for I don't know how long...

I think they'll animate it once the series is over. I don't think they wanted to waste the money on producing so many more filler episodes. Perhaps the final arc and it's absence will help get it done.

what popularity? there's a reason the series was cancelled.

I honestly don't see the end of bleach being animated.

OR I think Kubo's secretly waiting on the dub to finish so that Abe and Perriot could do the movie the entire arc like Berserk Golden Egg Arc and release it worldwide. And for the arc to nearly finish too. I think.

I thought it would have been much more fitting if they had ended the series before that arc. Aside from a better ending, it was also just before the time skip, so if they resumed the series years later, it would have seemed more "natural".

I'm pretty sure it will come back when the final arc ends. Don't see why it wouldn't.

i imagine that it will after it catches up in america if there is demand. I'm not sure of their ratings. But, the fact that it stopped in Japan does scare me that it is done for good.

That ratings in Japan were on the decline. As Bleach wasn't an early AM anime, ratings for it are important and disc sales play second fiddle.

The most recent ranking I've seen for the manga put it in 25th place. Sales over the long term are good, but it isn't the powerhouse it once was.

For Bleach to return would take one of two things:

1. Faith by person(s) in charge that it would perform substantially better in the ratings than before.

or

2. Confidence by the publisher that helping fund a new series would boost manga sales enough to pay for the shortfall between ad revenue and production costs.

Obviously if they waited until the manga concluded, there would be little point to #2, and there seems to be little reason for the faith required for #1.

I see. I am optimistic about your #1 though. The reasons for this are:

- I think a normal/fast paced and filler-free conclusion to the Bleach anime would be very welcomed by most of the fans.

- It can't do worst than the anime's last year (worst filler arc + worst cannon arc).

- With all those new anime adaptations of bleak Mangas/LNs that people have never heard about we get every 3 months, I just tell myself: ''C'mon, I'm sure they'll make an effort to fit Bleach in there when the time comes''. I know it hasn't been the case with several other popular anime but still, a brother can always hope logic will prevail.

- Above all, this is Bleach we're talking about. 366 episodes (still airing in the US), 4 movies, I don't know how many video games... And we're not talking about just another season or a Bleach Gt or whatever, but a conclusion to one of the all-time most popular manga in the world.

So yeah, I'm just optimistic is all.
